Is anyone else having trouble withdrawing money from Betbutler account. Have seen posts saying people are waiting months to get their money. Is this why they are no longer at Stoke on matchdays.

Looks like they have gone bust. Their twitter says they are unavailable and have been approached by a 3rd party. It seems to have been a bit of a slow death, been hearing complaints that punters struggling to withdraw money for the last six months or so.

We had trouble with them at the start of last season. Glad there's somebody new at the ground now. Cowboy outfit.

allways thought it a bit strange to have "outsiders" running the betting booths when we are owned by bet365? I think their is a gambling commission write to them with proof of your bet/account and you may get your money back. I remember many moons ago when I went chester races [in the days they gave you a ticket with a number on] I won on the last race but by the time I went to collect the bookie had buggered off so I wrote to an address on the ticket and received my money.

It's all to do with the anti-corruption/gambling in sport regulations. If, for example, Bet365 offered at the ground special of say Stoke to win 2.0 and Bardsley 1st goal scorer, odds say100-1, and it came in, to easy to accuse Bet365 being in the know. If it's and outside company, no one would care, authorities wise.

That, sadly, was standard practice for on course Bookies !

Bet365 are online bookmakers only, so there is no chance of them running the booths at Stoke or any other football ground

Just stick the app on your phone, and bet whenever on all the same markets you can get in the ground, albeit with significantly better odds! - simples.
Used to piss me off I could see (say) Crouch to score first online at 7/1, but it would be 4/1 in the ground

They posted on their facebook page: Thats a copy/paste from their website which is also "unavailable" a rather strange turn of phrase: www.betbutler.co.uk/The email address: info@momaco.co returns the following registrar details via a whois search: Registrant Name: Mark Craig Registrant Organization: Momaco B.V. Registrant Address1: Emancipatie Boulevard 29 Willemstad Registrant Address2: Curacao Dutch Carribean Registrant City: Curacao Registrant Postal Code: SE1 8YP Registrant Country: UNITED KINGDOM Registrant Country Code: GB Registrant Phone Number: +44.7760882452 Domain Registration Date: Fri Aug 29 00:16:33 GMT 2014 You may wish to ring that mobile number but I heavily suspect its been switched to answer phone... Company Check reveals that BetButler are late submitting their accounts which were due in April: companycheck.co.uk/company/06363389There is now only one sole director (despite the message given on their website) the two others resigned on these dates: Mr Andrew David Naylor - Jan 1st 2014 Mr William Peter Rollason - Feb 13th 2014 Leaving the newest director: Mr Andrew Laird Hosie (appointed on 1st Jan 2014) who has a total of five active companies he's involved in: BET BUTLER LIMITED - Late Accounts (net worth minus-£530k) BETCLEARER LIMITED - up to Date (net worth minus-£650k) BRABCO 736 LIMITED - Up to Date (Net worth minus-£500k) GAMBLING INSIGHT LTD - Late Accounts (net worth minus-£99k to -£500k) AM ESTEPONA 0633 LIMITED - Non Trading (probably a good thing!) scary stuff! by the way this is all publicly available and non of it is privileged information - obviously the accounting details are only brief outlines and as such one or more of the companies may well be profitable but given the givens I'd be reluctant to say I'd see them as a wise investment. Hopefully the punters will get their deposits back...

Thanks for all replies, only ever used it for my winning bets from the Stoke matches and because they are no longer there this year I decided to withdraw the money I have won over the past 2 years. Now it seems I will at least have to wait a month or so for my money if I get any at all, shall be more wary of opening accounts in the future.

Finally I'd suggest a politely worded email to the chief exec at stoke suggesting that they might wish to explain how a supplier with such an obviously bad reputation was allowed to operate effectively as a sanctioned supplier within the walls of the stadium and that perhaps stoke might wish to honour the lost balances in the event of a liquidation of BetButler as a gesture of good faith - I suppose bet365 could even offer it as a partially non refundable credit to a new account?

Thanks Widget123 shall follow the thread and if it looks like me not getting my money I may well follow it up with a letter to Stoke, like you say we all bet in good faith on the day of the matches and I probablt lost as much as I won so when you actually then try to get your money back and find out that you may have lost that too its a hard pill to swallow. Thanks again for everyones input and hopefully it will help other stokies in the same situation
