Cleary isn't happy that we won at Man City! Coming across as very 'Pro' Man City. They were unlucky, shame for Joe Hart etc.... Prick lol

He's been very complimentary about our defending.

His views on their "penalty" shout were fucking scandalous.

Completely wrong on the penalty if Eric touched him it was only because he was throwing him self to the floor

They were both nailed on penalties. Nope, you need contact for a pen, there wasn't any for the second until Toure threw himself to the floor.

He didn't touch him mate. The camera angle makes it look like he did but in reality he was nowhere near him. I was right in line with it and about 20 yards away...if that.

Difference is man city and toure are prime offenders for diving, so hard to know why they actually have been fouled.

He swung at it, missed and moved his leg, then Toure threw himself to the floor, there was no contact, its as simple as that.

Both certain penalties. The first wasn't given because we're Stoke away at the champions and the linesman didn't have the balls to give it. The second was a pretty wild challenge, nowhere near the ball and Toure's theatrics have done for him but it was a certain penalty.

The contact and that's whether there was any, wasn't anywhere near enough to hinder Toure's run,he could quite easily have carried on without even breaking stride, therefore not a foul. Not every bit of contact is a foul,Toure dived and deserved what he got. Noble is a twat for buying into this new fangled idea of if there is contact you have every right to go down. It stinks and is nothing other than cheating, and when pundits and players alike are banging the same drum week in week out it will only get worse.

He didn't touch him though!? He nearly does and it is an absolutely stupid asking for it challenge but if there's contact I'm the Pope.

One thing i don't understand is Costas shot goes through the goalkeepers legs and it's a great finish, but Diouf finishes the same way and it's bad goalkeeping!.

Noble is a very good player, and like Shawcross, an infinitely better player than many who are called up ahead of him.
Fabian Delph, Jack Colback...you're having a laugh Woy. Noble is a far better player than either of them.
As for him on TV this morning, I didn't see any of what the opening poster highlighted.

Penalty decisions like both in question are debated week in week out... and are inevitably interpreted different ways by different people. But ultimately the bottom line is that the refereeing at the game yesterday was consistent.

It proves he missed the ball (by a mile) and impeded the player. Clear penalty, as was ours.
