Yes Aizlewood in the Sunday Times again
Shawcross resorted to old school stoke with a unpunished butt on silva and wrestling with jotevich
Same man wrote appalling about Ryan breaking his own leg ahead of the season
Now last time I raised it I was mocked for my English so this time I will let the better scribes write to ombudsman . Editor or whoever but its appalling .

This would be the butt and certain red card that both MOTD and GOS haven't bothered to highlight would it?

and a 'butt' not mentioned by any member of the Man City playing and coaching staff, the local Manchester press or the whole of twitter. Sounds blatant.

If Fallaini cannot provoke Ryan into lashing out after nutting him three times in a single game, I seriously doubt a little lad like Silva would be able to ruffle his professionalism. This is more too with the media continuing to paint Shawcross as a pantomime villain. There are times when I wish Ryan would let his lawyer loose on some of the slanderous shit he has to put up with.

I saw something but in truth it looked like Silva pushed his head forward. Trouble was it just about caught Ryan on the chest!

The cameras at the game showed this 'incident' quite a few times. Here's what happens:
1) Shawcross and Silva have words.
2) Silva squares up to Ryan.
3) Jovetic grabs Ryan from behind and tries to put him In a headlock.
4) Ryan brushes him off.
5) The Man City players crowd around and cry a little bit.
6) Mason, having seen the whole thing, talks to both players and takes no further action.
In short, the man in The Times is a liar.

Watched the video of the game on the link below, didn't see anything at all, and don't think it was even mentioned.

The picture in the ST shows Shawcross holding Kompany , presumably in the penalty area. To quote: "No holds barred: Stoke captain Ryan Shawcross gets to grips with his Manchester City counterpart, Vincent Kompany...~".
ST fails to mention that Kompany is pulling Ryan's shirt!

You need to be a 'subscriber' to read it online
I have responded thus ....
Shame you have to invent some story about a "Shawcross butt on Silva" No mention in any other papers nor on MOTD or your own highlights video.
Maybe you have a hidden agenda against City .... remember there were two teams called City on the pitch!

Right wrong have made a formal complaint about Aizlewood to the PCC tonight for breeching the code on grounds of inaccuracy and sustained ( if he Rs breaks one of his own legs by a late tackle ) harassment likely to cause professional damage
