It's so very rare that you get such a team performance that you find it impossible to name a MOM. I really couldn't nominate a MOM performance from that game, a genuine team effort to a man.

Everytime I pick a certain player out for MOTM I think of someone else. Agree with the op. The whole team deserves MOTM with also a huge pat on the back for sparky who pulled of a superb piece of management

Hard to single out from that team performance (they were all great) but I thought Bardsley played like he was a born and bred Stokie today - I think he'll be a big Stoke favourite by season's end...

Very difficult and probably unnecessary to choose.
But if pushed, Shawcross was unreal, Bardsley was great and N'Zonzi was excellent.
Whelan was fantastic, Crouch was committed and Diouf worked tirelessly.
What a wonderful dilemma to have?

Bardsley, Shawcross, Diouf but I think Moses needs a special mention...am looking forward to him taking on defences throughout the season.

Close call between Ryan and N'Zonzi. Special mention for Wilson, he gets a fair amount of shit from people on here but thought he was fantastic today.

I think if anyone watches the whole game on sky then bardsley would get it. Even the sky commentators were laughing at the amount of work and effort he was putting in both defensively and going forward.

This - 100% (with an honourable mention to Moses)
To beat Citeh away for the first time in almost 25 years is phenomenal, especially after the first two games of the season When this lot (and the rest of the squad) REALLY gel.....I think we're going places
Crouch MUST be retained though IMHO

So many fantastic performances but I don't know how you can't give it to the man who single handedly scored the only goal of the game in such fantastic fashion. Diouf for me.

Peter Crouch for me. Battled all over the park. Crucial headers from their corners, in the right place when mattered up front, winning balls and laying em off. Top fucking man.
