I read their post match thread, they were more pissed off at their own bad day at office. Similar to our villa game

Fair play, I had a lot of respect for city fans anyway (the real ones, not the gloryhunters who signed up circa 2011), supporting their team even though Man Utd were winning anything and everything, whilst they went down to league 1 alongside ourselves, but some of the things they have said (i.e. the majority not calling us a bunch of cloggers and 'achet men) has raised my opinion of them even further. I might not like the way the club itself is run, but the city fans deserve their successes for sticking with their teams through the hard times.

Incredible how they win the league and a cup and after one result (bit like us vs Villa) they go to pieces.
They are turning into spoilt London fans.

Every good supporter sticks with their local club through the hard times mate. They are no more deserving than Coventry City fans or any other club who has been through shite. Lets not forget where we have been, how many other fans tell us we deserve to be in the premier league having watched some utter shite over the years? Sorry I just don't buy into the Citeh fans deserve it bandwagon. I personally don't like Man City and never have done, and now they are doing well their fans are no less glory seeking than United's.

Have to say I had a cracking hour or so with some grown up Citeh fans in town after the Cup Final, blokes who had been down the divisions.

May well have been the same lot we spent a couple of hours with before the final Penkville. Top lads, and , as you say, been up & down the divisions.

Listen mate, they stuck with their team through the hard times, just like me and you have (such as after a pathetic 4-1 defeat to Bristol Rovers at home, losing to Nuneaton in the cup and stuck in the bosom of League one). Yes you could say Coventry, and fans of many other clubs are deserving of a bit of success and, of course they are, but that wasn't the point I was trying to make. The point I was trying to make was they have been in the shadows of Man Utd for decades and its nice to see City one-up their rivals, if only for the loyal fans who toiled through the bad days. Of course, I do not agree with the spend spend spend policy they have, neither do I like the fact that gloryhunters have jumped on the bandwagon since they have started 'winning things'. Bottom line is, you cannot begrudge the real fans enjoying the success they have had. And that goes for fans of any club, except the likes of middle class Tarquin who has been a Chelski die-hard for all of a decade.

What comes over loud and clear is that many of them don't rate Joe Hart at all and they appear to absolutely detest Lee Mason. What's also very apparent is that possession doesn't win you football matches (74-26 in favour of Man City). Also surprised at the foul count. Dirty Man City!!!!!Just love it when we get opposition supporters getting really wound up.

They were pathetic after a little 10 minute flurry. Everything they 'threw' at us was dealt with ease.
It was one of the easiest away victories ive ever witnessed and thats taking nowt away from our lads who were superb to a man.

Oh well, we will have to disagree They had their A team out and tried everything and we coped with it Ok, it maybe did not come off for them today, but some of their play was sublime - but we coped At no point did any of our lot turn around and state they were crap.

I was sat in the citeh end today on a mate's season ticket. They are a decent bunch the citeh fans, all the people around me praising stoke as much a s they were pissed off and frustrated. The guy behind me kept saying "if this finishes 1-0 it's the right result" lots of comments about how dangerous we looked as well, hey didn't like Moses being on the pitch at all.
One of my proudest moments as a stoke fan when that final whistle went.
