Just watching manure Burnley (75mins) right now. Free kick to Burnley 30 - 35 yards out Right hand side. Foy sprays a 'horsehoe' round the ball (OK so far) Then paces out his version of ten yards (which is nearer to the goal than the forming wall Then, WALKS BACK AT LEAST A YARD - MAYBE TWO, to where the players are actually standing and sprays a line at their feet About 8 yards from the ball ??????
A joke, a complete Joke you just could not make up and hes not the only one what are these muppets on ---- glue ?????

I have noticed this as well! In the Arsenal v Palace game the ref was doing it on every freekick. Really annoyed me for some reason.

If players refuse to move back, use pepper spray.

Twice I noticed the ManU players side-step the line to encroach from a slightly different angle.
Until the first player gets booked it'll go on...

Man Ure have always been and still are the undisputed kings of cheating. Any half decent ref should spray the line ten yards away then book every opposing player the wrong side of it. And for 87 or 88 teams that is what probably will happen.

You can remove the vanishing spray from your title. Chris Foy is an incompetent useless cunt fullstop.

If players refuse to move back, use pepper spray. Like it! But the answer is easy. Walk behind the wall then spray the line behind them in the appropriate place, then get the players into the correct position. Not that difficult.

I said on another post just recently words to the effect that this would happen. Independent assessors needed. So it is ten yards nowadays then. Some of these b------d referees need to go back to school. Pathetic! I get more and more frustrated every week that passes with these idiots. In fact as well as the spray, they should be made to carry a tape measure, or something that measures exactly ten yards. I know this sounds stupid, but this is how annoyed I get about such things! Before someone comes on spouting about stopping the game, I don't care if I sit there all day, if I can come out of the game thinking all was fair!

If it was me as a ref it's easy, before the season starts mark out 10yards in my garden then walk it, if it takes 10, 11,12 or whatver steps i remember and use the same number in the match easy.
