..... Adam vs United on Sir Stanley's anniversary.
Wasn't superbly technical but a hell of a strike on a cold, wet day at the Brit and always brings a smile.
The wall of noise during injury time was brilliant.

I think BT's goal vs Man City will always be special because of the significance of it and that 80th minute roar it brought about at the Brit.

March4, I am sure "the leaders" goal when he got down on his knees to head the ball in was against Southampton..
Something totally different, how do people put comments in those square things?

Crouch Vs Man City Fuller Vs Wolves Assaidi Vs Chelsea I have no idea what order to put them in though, each special for different reasons Fuller vs Wolves for me too mate. It was such a tense game, I remember being so nervous throughout. I'd gone down to the toilet and walked back up and Fuller had just started to break away. Don't think there's too many other goals where I've celebrated like I did. That was the day I started to genuinely believe we had a decent chance of promotion.

Exactly that, it was such an up and down game, leading 3-2 into the final minutes, they were pressing for an equaliser! I remember when Fuller came on as a sub, Stoke fans were singing, Rics gonna get ya, it felt like he was running with the ball for an age and just before he shot it felt like it went quiet, then as it hit the net, it went absolutely mental!! That was the day I think a lot of is started to believe.

Can we rename this topic "The Best 4 Stoke City goals? Mame's goal today is right up there. The winning goal on the ground of the reigning champions for the first time in nearly four decades and what a goal!!!! It really doesn't get much better than this.

Chris Maskrey (against Brighton, I think?) deserves an honourable mention. The Greenhoff goal against Birmingham was a belter but does anyone remember an even better one in a similar fashion against Newcastle which was chalked off for offside? Tail end of '75, if memory serves. It was on Star Soccer (Huge Ones commentating) the next afternoon, too.

First 3 that came to mind for no particular reason were - Chris Iwelumo - I think it was against Wigan in the cup. Totally unexpected. Steino - Against Forest away - it all just came together in one swift incisive move. Crouchy - That goal against City will live with me forever. I swear the top deck of the stand actually shook when that went in. Yes, the Iwelumo goal on the volley against Wigan was incredible... captured in video for future generations so they can never forget...
