What were they expecting when the appointed him?
They really are turning into a joke of a club at the minute.

Tony Pulis...?
It would be the biggest club he would ever manage.

As someone mentioned last week...Pulis perfect for the job. Club under siege mentality, home support.....with the right backing who knows?...Leeds potentially a huge club and really should not be as low as they are.

I'd argue that they've been a joke of a club for the last 10 years and however harsh that sounds, it's true.

Can't see it, the owner wants a big say it what goes on with the team, I'm guessing thats why Hockaday was appointed in the first place, as a yes man, maybe he hasn't been as agreeable as first hoped.

Tony Pulis for Leeds? You must be having a laugh!
I'll give you half an hour to have a look into the background of that club before you realise he'd never take it on in a month of Sundays.

It would be a major coup for Leeds utd to attract such a manager. If they pull it off then they could be a club on the up

Pulis: I want full control of all transfers and £10million up front to buy Jon Walters, Peter Crouch and Glenn Whelan and £40k wages per month for each of them
Cellino: Are you having a laugh? No chance! I will be buying young Italian kids and you will have to pick them
Pulis: I quit!

Shame for Hockaday, helped in our Lou years, although only briefly. 6 matches and that's it, wow.

The only managers who would/should take that job are those who wouldn't get a managers job anywhere else (like Hockaday) or managers who fancy a quick payoff. The chairman is a lunatic.

The owner is loopy, why would anyone work for him. Did Hockaday pass his 3 month probation period so he could get a permanent position and get a pay out ?

For Tone, references to 'The Family' would take on a whole new context at Leeds.
Go on Don !
