With Lampard and Gerrard, Cole gone and Shaw. Barkley, Lallana and Gibbs injured it's going to be a pretty "special" looking England squad isn't it?
Who's going to fill the gaps in midfield? Wilshere, Henderson, Milner, Chambo???
Left back- Rose? Bertrand?
And which young gun centre half or halves will get the nod?

John Percy was hinting that bloody Delph would get in.
You can bet that the Dier kiddie will be close now he's put his name in lights a bit. That's how the game seems to be played

What I think Roy will pick based on a 23 man squad (how many will we name for the friendly?)
Hart Forster Foster
Johnson Stones Cahill Jagielka Smalling Chambers Baines Bertrand
Henderson Wilshere Milner Barry Rodwell
Oxlade-Chamberlain Sterling Townsend
Rooney Sturridge Lambert Wellbeck
Wouldn't be surprised to see Dier, Delph, Westwood all given call ups, I've left out Phil Jones but I'd imagine he'll be in there somewehre as well & possible recalls for Adam Johnson & Downing?

Roy speaking on SSN re Calum Chambers from Arsenal - stood out at Southampton where Roy has seen a lot of him! It's a fucking national team! You're not fucking signing him! You can pick him any time you want! i.e. Once he's proven he's turned into a world class player! GIVE ME STRENGTH!!

More wank squad selection from a wank manager, I have completely lost any interest in our national team and I can't see it changing while the fucking clowns are in charge of the circus. Gouranga.

This is comedy gold! and so is this... I was looking for an animated umpire gif to give Woy out and i then remembered Naked Gun, hence this umpiring brilliance.

What an absolute prick Roy Hodgson is. So you can think of other English players who would make that team world beaters? In defence I'd have Shawcross, Dawson and Caulker in before the proven failure Jagielka and the inexperienced Chambers. He's a prick because he's a lying failure without any honour.

I think that might be the weakest England squad in my lifetime. I was alive for Mexico '86. same here, and I was able to remember the 70's when we didn't qualify in 74 & 78, every Everton fan I know has said Stones isn't ready and somebody like Shawcross should be ahead of him can we get a media hoo ha on Ollie Shenton, woy might pick him next time ....

We have nobody coming through mate It's not the fault of those chosen though is it and it's now young players who don't deserve to take " the shit " for the failed golden generation It's good to see a Colback etc getting rewarded but let's go easy on them as it's not their doing

Gouranga. 8-) Please give an example of good England squad selection from available players? Lot of criticism not many alternatives! I've never been one to give Hodgson too hard of a kicking (although I would certainly make changes to this squad). The FA has been failing for decades but because it's a faceless bureaucracy it escapes the public's vitriol. It needs rebuilding.

I would of picked Rodwell & Huddlestone ahead of Delph & Colback. Shawcross & Davies would also be in it ahead of Stones & Chambers

Our midfield is better than that ...I see the media jizz fest over Chambers has earnt him a call up. Same old bollocks Woy. Every time I've seen him, he's looked shakey. I thought Arsenal's performance against Everton from a defensive standpoint was horrific and Chambers was at the heart of that. Still, Shawcross hasn't looked perfect this season, so not that we can shout much. Didn't play brilliant against Villa.
