It's not a massive amount to go on though and I think he's looked unfit this season (injury?) so I wouldn't be looking to bring him in at the moment.

It's more to go on than one game at Everton that nobody came out of with any credit.

Wilson has had loads more decent games at CB than just 2 though, his problem is really with his concentration levels. We really don't know anything about Muniesa in that respect so it's pretty hard to judge how well he'll do for me.

We can't keep giving daft goals away every week.

leave the defence alone! They are doing all right. Almost half the Prem. teams including Chelsea have let in double or more the goals Stoke have.
IMO MH should continue to hone the present back 4 with N'Zonzi and Whelan in front of them; with Bego in goal, they could turn out to be the best defence in the Prem. this season.

Conceding daft goals every week isn't "doing alright".

Leave the defence alone, it's not that bad. It's the strikers we should be concentrating on. We can't win games if we don't score and we can't score if every shot is 5 yards wide. Shooting practice every please Hughes

The one good thing about Stoke today is that they're in better form than this talkboard. You are so Right lostinafrenchbar, i reckon the average age of posters on this site must be around 8-10yr olds or else almost all Tossers

I really like the lad, but winning one header against Andy Carroll seems to have turned Muniesa into Puyol in some people's eyes. One? He won a fuck tonne and was the first to win a header against him all game, even Ryan struggled. And I mainly use it as an example to show he doesn't get bullied and can defend against the most English sort of striker in the league which is something he's been accused of not being able to do. He might not be the answer but he's worth as much of a shot as Wilson. He can't be worse.

Well it felt like he won a fuck load and he was the first to win a header vs Carroll and he was by far the best defender on display that game. He dealt with Carroll (who was and always does trouble Ryan), Adebayor and Bent in successive (or near successive games) three strikers that you'd expect to bully him. He was never bothered once.

Frankly the goals can be as daft as they like if that record continues in a similar vein.
