Really mess up my weekend. I like a few ales before/during/after the match, but it takes me all next day to recover. Mondays at work is always hectic, so i can't drink on Sundays. Sunday matches - like my arse.

I don't like the fixtures. Bloody 13th September before we get another home league game. Ridiculous!

My biggest gripe is with the crappy upcoming international break. Nobody cares, it kills a fortnight dead, just play all the games in the summer.

Another thing about Sunday matches.
Saturday then becomes as pointless as closed season.
Like my arse.

It's all the other stuff missing: all the Saturday morning pre-footie progammes on radio and TV that build up the anticipation; the fact that, on Saturday, you can eat lunch before the game, rather wolfing down an over-priced pie as your main mid day meal; listening to Sports Report and 606 on your way home, catching up with how the other teams have done and working out the latest league placings re-shuffle as they happen. Even P&G is missing! Even MOTD2 doesn't feel like the real thing at the end of the day. It's that 'after the Lord Mayor's Show' feeling about Sunday football that creates the slightly strange feeling about it all.

Spoons opens at 8AM Is that near the ground? From what I can gather, there are 2 in the centre of Hull, which is itself just a mile from the ground.
