It wasn't a brilliant opening group of Premier League fixtures where punters were concerned. Man Utd losing would have spolit a fair few coupons, as well as our own loss to Villa ruining a fair few selections, my NAP bet included. It wasn't all bad news though, some of the losses were recouped with the Rooney and Sturridge anytime scorer bets coming in, making it not quite the disaster it could well have been. Onwards and upwards though - this weekends bets are below. NAP:Swansea v Burnley - Home win Spurs v QPR - Home win Bet type: Double. Odds 6/4. After Swansea's confidence boosting away win at Old Trafford on the opening day they'll go into their first home game of the season with the bit between their teeth. They should have more than enough to see off Burnely, who for their part, will be a bit deflated after their one sided trouncing at the hands of Chelsea on Monday night. In the second match, Spurs should have enough to see QPR off too so this double seems good value to me at 6/4. Longer odds punt:Palace v West Ham Everton v Arsenal Sunderland v Man Utd All three as draws, perm in the doubles and the treble. As the title states - this is a punt so the stakes will be small. I expect all 3 of these matches to be tight and should 2 of the 3 come in, the odds would be around 10/1 for the double, clearing a nice profit from relatively small stakes. Picking draws are a minefield though, so I won't be going overboard on this one. The treble pays around 40/1. Happy hunting. WD ( Trouserdog)

Derby - Fulham is a tricky one. Fulham need the win and derby looked poor mid-week

Can't see a winner out of any of these Really tough, especially this time of the season Closest I got was 2 wins & a draw from my treble, was hoping Rochdale were going snatch a late winner.

Right...Bet365 are doing an in-play offer tonight, for the Citeh v Liverpool game.
Is this one of them no risk bets? They usually do a couple every season.
Eg:
£50 over 2.5 goals returns £80
Free £50 in-play bet under 2.5 returns £110 (or £60 with it not returning stake?)
Or should the bets be used the other way around?
Or have I got it totally wrong?

Doing the very short odds challenge. After 5 bets my £10 stake is now £15.74. I'm pushing the boat out tonight with a Real and Athletico double.
This time next year Rodney i'll be a millionaire....
