Are any of our players not signing for Villa?

Lets just hope theres a shred of truth about this. I could not handle another season of him hanging around, picking up a wage for nothing.

Shame he didn't go two weeks ago or we might've won last Saturday

Catracho the Steering Wheel? I know these web translation filters can be random but I don't have a clue what that means.

Palacios is ace, wasn't he in the team that beat Villa away?

Unexpected bonus if this happens. Lambert's signings this summer have got a whiff of 2009 about them. But they beat us fair and square on the day so can't say too much until their apparent mediocrity does find them out. The only signing that looks decent on paper is the big Colombian kiddie and Wilson would join the group that look a bit suspect and cheap. Presumably the fee would be very low, but better than a kick up the arse if it saves 30k a week

Catracho the Steering Wheel? I know these web translation filters can be random but I don't have a clue what that means. The word for 'midfielder' is the same as the word for 'steering wheel' in Spanish. I would be absolutely astounded if this happens. It would take Lambert's collection of has-been signings to a new low!

Good luck to the lad. Can't blame him for the fact he never really had a chance to show what he can do.Can't blame him for the fact he's sat on the bench ever since he got to the Brit, and took his wages. Still happy to see him go, though.

I spotted a car, reg number WP 1, parked in Elburton Villa car park as I was walking the dog yesterday afternoon. Heard this morning he's getting a trial game as an over age player with the U12 side tomorrow morning. Mind you the wind is forecast for 10mph gusting 14mph tomorrow so that may not happen.

Palacios played a full part in our biggest away win in the Premiership last season at Villa.
Along with Whelan and Zonz he totally dominated the middle of the pich in much the same way as Delph and Westwood did last Saturday. Maybe that's why Villa may want him.
Personally though I think Palacios actually moving to Villa is very, very unlikely.
Let's hope he does move somewhere before the window closes.

I think if he is given enough game time we will see a decent player again! That won't happen at Stoke though!

People point out his performance against Villa last season because it's the only fucking thing he's done in 3 years. Just fuck him off.

A full first season wasn't it. If he performed for us anywhere near to the level as he did earlier in his career then he would have been in the side. I doubt we would have expected him to be so crap when we paid 8m for him. Worst deal ever by the club.

Disappointingly no pick-up from any other sources yet.
Hopefully it isn't just the Honduran paper flying a kite.
It does seem a bit far-fetched that Villa would jump in with a 3-yr contract.

If my memory serves me right weren't Villa interested in Palacios at the end of the January transfer window ?

Sentinel have picked it up now so not long till nationals will. Bugger the 3 year, villa can have him on a 3 day as long as he is off our bloody books

Palacios has as much chance of signing for Villa as I have of becoming Villas player of the season.

Would that be Elburton Villa as in Elburton near Plymstock? I used to live about 300 yards away from their ground many moons ago when there was still a garden centre next door.

Trial game with the under 12's? I'm guessing a group of 11 year olds won't like the wind either? At least he might last the duration.
