Do people still think Liverpool got a good deal ? To me he is Kenwynne Jones, with a bit more talent. Simply doesn't understand how lucky he is. How do these guys get to play at this level with the attitude they show. And he bought the house I coveted in Frodsham. I hope they keep playing him as I've backed them to be this seasons under achievers. And Rodgers is getting stick over it now - which is even better.

Quite incredible that they pulled out of the Remy deal and signed Balotelli for twice as much money.
How Rodgers deals with the 'shirt swap' incident I've no idea but I'm pretty sure that he didn't even come out of the dressing room for the second half.

If he'd have scored a couple in the first half Paul, I doubt we'd hear another thing about the shirt swap. He certainly won't last more than a season there before he drifts off to play in Turkey or Greece.

love how all the scouse fans and the Liverpool "greats" are slaughtering Balotelli. The same people who defended the racist, diving, cheating, biting Saurez to the hilt!

One of the most overrated players in the history of football. So glad he's ended up at Liverpool.

It is a bit of a none story but if your 0-3 down at half time and you are swapping your shirt with a player who has prevented you from scoring, it shows a complete lack of passion and pride for yourself and the club you are playing for. Shirt swapping is OK if a player has had a magnificent game or if it was a cup final or a game that had everything you could wish for in it. Not when you have played crap and you are losing. Especially at half time.

All the same, half-time shirt-swapping is crap and shouldn't be allowed.

The faux outrage over this non-event just underlines what a pathetic, narrative driven world football occupies these days.

Maybe this is Rogers being cute; deflect attention from yet another shocking performance from his defence by sacrificing Mario.
A bit like Monk at the weekend ensuring his poor management wasn't discussed by having a pop at Moses.

Apparently it was Pepe that instigated the swap - bet rogers jumped on it as it diverts the flak from him - Rogers now says the shirt swap is a closed matter but he might have said Clothes matter but no one could understand the C***

No idea about anything more about it than that. It's just such a bizarre thing to do at half time. Did Balotelli know that he was going off at half time? Who instigated the shirt swap? I don't know why you'd do it really.

Ohh the British press loves a fallout of fans with a "gigantic signing" like Balotelli' I personally think he's just riding his fame now, the misses he had the week before that went into row Zed at QPR confirmed his mentality to be at Liverpool. We could give fuck all and the sad thing is those dumb scousers felt he'd become a Benzema. LOL
