Be interesting to see how many turn up for their next home game. Surely the ones that went to Northampton to watch them deserve a free season ticket next season.

Have they got a better deal off the owners/council this time? I understand they really got a rotten deal off the other parties in the stadium arrangement and it was draining their coffers dry.

The ones who stayed away in dispute at the owners who forced them to Northampton are just as worthy of one in my book For the record their 1st game back will be a home sell out and I reckon this whole sorry episode will galvanise their support

It is a step in the right direction. Just the small matter of soul-less blood sucking corporate owners, crippling debts, being hamstrung by FFP and SISU's stated intention to appeal the judicial review decision and build their own stadium to resolve now. But it's OK, because they're fit and proper owners.

All the very best to them. Id hate to be in their position.
The supporters have no choice as to what happens to their football clubs and they have to put up with it regardless.
In the end we all have very little power.

I was at the Ricoh last week for a boxing event in one of the suite's. It is a cracking stadium to be fair and was a real shame looking at it knowing it wasn't getting used. The grass was all cut, the lines were still on the pitch etc.
Brought back great memories of the promotion season when Ric and Lawrence came on and we came back to win from 1-0 down, what a day that was.
Good luck to them

One other question this has raised though, is will Coventry still seek to move to their own 'owned' stadium or will they stay at the Ricoh?

They are the real heroes. Although, I don't expect that SISU see it that way.

One other question this has raised though, is will Coventry still seek to move to their own 'owned' stadium or will they stay at the Ricoh? Allegedly, yes. Their chief exec is saying the Ricoh deal is for 2 years, with an option for a further 2, whilst they press on with building their own stadium. Probably bluff whilst they find an angle to carry on distressing the stadium owners' business with a view to picking it up on the cheap though.

Maybe they will buy it outright if they ever get to the Premier league like we did. Although I suspect it will cost them more than the £6m we shelled out.

Nobody really knows what their owners SISU are after out of all this. Either they want the land around the Ricoh in which case they need to buy the freehold, or they want the revenues for FPP reasons in which case they need to buy the leasehold (i.e. the stadium company ACL).
Either way months of playing in front of a few hundred fans in Northampton and a load of costly, failed High Court legal proceedings seems like an expensive way of going about it. Perhaps they don't know what they're doing themselves? In which case their investors must be getting a bit twitchy.
It's no way to run a football club.

Good luck to them. Deserve this after recent troubles.
I still think Highfield Road was in good knick! Last time we played at Covs old ground Iwelumo scored a pen if I remember rightly? Wasn't a convincing pen ether. Wasn't super Jonny Eustace their talisman that day to??

I still look back at the Ricoh as the ground where Mama joined the fray from the bench to completely change the direction of the game and Lenny and Ric scored the goals to make us believe promotion was realistic.

Really think it's nice to see them back where they belong! No supporter should have to go to another town to watch the home games (unless you live somewhere else of course!)!
