Good work Rob. Do you still feel as buoyant as you did this time last week and do you think Diouf will work out? Not small questions I know so feel free shoulder arms for the moment if you like

Good post again. We looked very weak in places. Personally, I hope he doesn't put the same eleven out against Hull. As I've said on other posts, I wasn't happy with the defence or the midfield, who I thought were very poor on the day. I think we need a result against Hull ( I know that's fairly obvious), but with a hard game at City coming up, I would like the first three points on the board. The team, whoever named, need to go out and bust a gut in this one!

It wasn't good enough to be Rob's work mate! whoops sorry What do you reckon then I'm still confident mate. I remained pretty positive last season, even through the opening few months when things weren't going too well. It's going to take time for Hughes to settle on his strongest XI and the new players will only get better with time. As for Diouf, I'm not going to write him off just yet. His work ethic was clear to see on Saturday but he had hardly any service to show us what he can do in front of goal. I'd have been more concerned if we were creating chances and he was failing to convert. The team can only improve, and when we do, the chances will start to flow. I still expect him to notch a few this Season.

That thought is thorougly depressing. Akinbiyi was wank and it would take much more than an XR3i tag and a go faster stripe for him to be what we need. Akinbiyi? Please no!

Diouf runs the same channels as Ade but that's where the similarities end.
He has far more skill than Ade ever had.
Come on lads, let's be sensible.
