is this the end of the bear pit atmosphere ? seems too many stokies took to their seats waiting to be entertained and go home with the 3 points in the bag,no fire or passion in the crowd, booing at the final whistle,it was good while it lasted wasnt it ?who do we blame, ourselves or mark hughes ?

Yeah, the manager who delivered our highest league position and best football for nearly forty years is to blame.

I blame unemployment in Fegg Hayes and Chell Heath.

Yeah, the manager who delivered our highest league position for nearly forty years is to blame. and in doing so some stoke fans have raised their expectations and dont think the team need vocal support, some even talked of a top 6 finish, lol.

I'd start by banning the wearing of the {admittedly smart} away kit to home games. Disappointing to look around and see Aston Villa blue throughout our stands yesterday. Needs sorting.

Breathtaking post. Is anyone really this thick? u think the brit was a bear pit on saturday? No because Stoke played very poorly and we have a poor song sheet. Delilah and when the reds are piss poor songs. It's about time the old songs are brought back plus decent ones sung for our footballers. Bego, Bego, Arnie Arnie are cringeworthy.

Do you have to ask? Pretty sure you saw his '10 Johnny Walters' comment didn't you? yawwwwwn,oh ely ,was the brit a bear pit on saturday,? So bored with the subject you felt the need to pm me about it? No, it wasn't, it's been a lot better, but it's also been a hell of a lot fucking worse. It usually needs 'an incident' or two to get it going, there was nothing in particular yetserday and we didn't play anywhere near as well we all thought we might. Why do you feel the need to look for blame?

Don't get the slagging of the OP here.
He is just asking the question we have debated 1000 times on here before.
Should the fans raise a flat team or is it a 2-way street where there is also a debt of duty on the team (the buck stops with the manager) to give them something to get excited about?

Yes I realised that. Which made it all the more strange that folks seemed to think you were knocking Mr. Hughes.

Call me a cynical miserable old bastuurd from humble beginnings if you want to ,but I would suggest the atmosphere mirrored the performance....shit. Have you ever heard anyone cheer at a funeral ...?

Really, are you people so mentally challenged? I'm sure he can defend himself but he was asking a question, is it the fans or is it Hughes to blame? As for you then you sound in dire need a double dose of your medication.

Off topic , but no less relevant , I would just like to add that I was bitterly disappointed that Mark Hughes didn't smack Roy Keane after his outrageous protestations on the touch line. He is one complete and utter bastuurd who I would like to take to to one side and tell him what I really think of him...man to man.

Do you reckon you could take him down to Chinatown then Mumf? I'd pay good money to see that one our kid.
