Borat your not on your own Adam is 10 times e player Ireland is and as posted elsewhere the deterination to get Ireland in the 11 is very concerning No he isn't! Adam does the flashy things well. Tell me who is better running off the ball and ghosting into positions? Who is better playing little one twos in tight areas? Who gets up and down the pitch better? Who rarely gives the ball away? Adam is a goal threat yes but is a liability at times as pre-season showed.

Ruining off the ball and shoved off it when he is on it , tight 1-2's with no end product , far too many missed chances far too few goals or assists for the pivotal role the team and worst long long periods when he goes missing
Personal view is Adam offers mor but Ireland is so ineffective I'd rather have Walters , Adam , bojan in the hoe for me he would be a poor 4th choice

Ireland is great for pre season friendlies also o.k. when we have a two goal lead. Adam is far superior . Adam must not be sold.l

Adam is well skilled at losing possession. .

Adam is well skilled at losing possession. . Keeping possession is fine, but if all you do is pass backwards or sideways, it's not much use. Adam loses possession but he is taking more chances.

I'm still not convinced by Ireland and I doubt I ever will be. It would have to be Bojan or Adam in the hole for me. A front 4 of Diouf, Arnie, Bojan and Moses. Then we have Wingie and Adam as options off the bench. Ireland probably wouldn't even get onto the bench in my team.

He certainly holds the key for us to unlock the oppositions defence. A tremendous talent, no worse than most yesterday.

Three words for him yesterday
FAR - TOO - CASUAL
class player - BUT needs a rocket up his arse (among others you can name) e.g.
Whelan - Nzonzi - Arnie etc
and Doiuf - not a rocket - just not ready to 'lead the line' as yet

I am obviously the odd one out here but I'd start Adam over Ireland most games, I was screaming for Adam come on yesterday but he only had 10 mins. Adam has so many goals in him whereas Ireland hasn't, baffled. your not the only one, fair enough Adam concedes free kicks and isn't as quick getting back but I also think he is clever enough to win us free locks. He can also get within 25 yards of goal and hit a decent shot as we saw last season his range of passing is also a bonus and just think he is more of a postive player with the ball. I would start Adam ahead of Ireland most games.

What's with that beard thing he has? I thought he'd been training to join Islamic State! Growing a beard until he scores five? Maybe will need to revise that to getting in the opposition box five times, because if he doesn't he will soon be tripping over the bloody thing!

He is a luxury we simply can't afford with the others we have and is not as good or have the potential the other luxury players do he wouldn't make the bench for me either rather have Walters in the hole than him

We can't have that as an excuse every year though surely? Same as "my teams are always better in the second half of the season". You can get away with that once, but no more than that. Yes however the criticism he got yesterday wasnt warranted. Yes it was. Every single one of them deserved some criticism yesterday. Some more than others. Including Hughes and to some degree the support which was lame from the off.

For me Bojan is potentially our best player along with Arnautovic, both players should be played in their best positions, which means to me Bojan plays centrally, Arnie on the Left.
can't help but think that Crouch on the field playing with Bojan swapping positions reguarly would work well. Crouchies hold up and link up play is good so he could drop deeper well Bojan moves further forward and vice versa, bojan looks like he can finish it would be criminal to me not to give him regular game time as furthest forward, especially when the chances are being created.

I think Ireland has had 60 minutes where he has played well since he has come to Stoke. He has absolutely no influence on any game that is tight - his scoring record for a guy who is supposed to link with the attack is awful - two last year was it? He disappears when you need him to get hold of a game- his tackling is not that good , and he wouldn't be able to mark a man in a phone booth - let's see if Bojan can do that role, failing him, Adam, and then if we really don't mind another "play when it suits" player, Ireland.

Don't think we can have the luxury of Ireland and Bojan in the same team without a good midfield stopper on the pitch, even then we would be a little lightweight. Would prefer Sidwell and Nzonzi with Bojan up front with Diouf.

Adam far superior! Pisser! We have the slowest midfield in the prem as it is with whelan and nzonzi. Add adam into that and the chelsea pensioners would run right through them.

Plenty of Newcastle fans and would agree sadly, before they bombed him out my Walters comment was genuine his best game last year was in the hole v man u at home . More goals in him than Ireland which is saying something and critically he let's the opposition know he is around Walters wouldn't be my first choice but he Would be ahead of Ireland

Ireland is most effective playing just behind the main forward , which also seems to be Bojan's best position so this will take some working out . I struggle to see both of them in the same side , makes us far too lightweight as it did yesterday against more physical opponents

Ireland plays much better with two proper wingers either side of him
Bojan drifted inside to much and that then crowded the middle taking time away from both the players
Had it been either in the middle with Moses and Arnie on the wings they would have had much more time to dictate play better
That said I'd have bojan in the middle ahead of him
