Thumbs up from me. I bet they bring a few because its what they do and it adds another home fixture in that barren run of home games early on.

Probably will be Wednesday 27th as we're playing Hull on Sunday 24th August. Vale can "entertain" Cardiff on the Tuesday.

To get the crowd in for this it needs to be a quid each for anyone.
The club can charge a tenner and get 8k - £80k on tickets alone or Charge 4 quid each, get 20k in and still make £80k on tickets.

Not a bad draw, pompy always travel well considering they are south coast. We should also get through (not tempting fate obviously)

Stoke, Vale, Crewe and Burton all at home.
It will be interesting to sort out who plays when.

Why Crewe? Not in the.same county. It's a joke they are covered by Radio Stoke.

Poor draw. Club will have to make it a tenner to get anyone in. Poor draw my arse! To think we could have drawn Gillingham away as Newcastle (no sympathy for them by the way) brings home what a GOOD draw this is for us.

Just glad we get a home draw and I hope they price the game properly none of this £12-£6 bollox so everyone got piss about with change etc if cash turnstiles are in operation.
£10 adults £5 U17 & kids and OAP's
Let's get a 15k crowd in.

Oh well, we got the other team beginning with 'Port' who struggle to pay their bills...
Could be some fun and games in Burslem with Cardiff.

Hard to believe we played these in our first season in The Prem. They had the likes of Defoe and Crouch playing for them then and were in Europe !! Remember being at the away game and the Stoke fans singing "If crouch can play for England so can I" he then promptly scored with a spectacular bicycle kick. We never learn :-)

We owe them a drubbing for that League cup match a few years ago, 230 miles each way to watch Pulis put out the reserves in a 4-0 surrender, Arismendi was our best player on the night IMO, that's how good we were ....

Looks kind of funny to see all the clubs involved in Europe not in the draw, but to see Manure there, wonder when they last failed to make Europe in any competition, must be decades ago....

Can't for the life of me work out why they don't introduce a regional element into the early rounds, surely they would get bigger gates with a localish tie, really cant see many making the journey up from Pompey, maybe get a few locally based fans, but very few Pompey based...

Did you see the draw yesterday? It was a right mess, they got all confused and had to re-draw one of the ties. Imagine if they added an extra element of confusion, they'd probably all start crying. "That's Burton Albion, they'll play.....Burton Albion.....Hang on, what number's that?....That's errrrr, errrrr, we'll be right back after a lie down"

If they made it a fiver for adults and kids for a quid, advance tickets only - do you think we would sell out?
All the kids are on holiday so no problem with a school night.
If it's £12/£6, I doubt we'll get much more than 10k.
