One of the best bands ever.
The haunted house that is "OK Computer" was never out of my CD player for years. I got to love Kid A and Amnesiac in time as well. Very much influenced by Pole.
Musique avante garde avec video sans le poule est sur la table.

Is that the original video? Forgot how good that song is! Probably my favourite band of all time.

best band on the planet bar none (The Bends and Pablo Honey being by far their best albums closely followed by King Of Limbs where they got back to their best). a rarity in that they've never really released a weak album (although OK Computer was a bit self-indulgent at times for me)
and if you liked the more "Experimental" radiohead stuff (kid A etc.) then i'd also recomment "Atoms for Peace"...quality stuff!
they start recording their new album in a couple of months as well, can't wait!

It's all subjective, but Radiohead are not for me no more I'm afraid, I liked most of their output up to and including 'OK Computer', some of the remixes of 'No Surprises', 'Climbing Up the walls' etc were great.
I've listened to, and persevered with 'Kid A' and 'In Rainbows', but Yorke's monotous, mumbling whine gets on me wick these days. They're still inventive musically, but I switch off when Thom starts to opine. The last thing he did that blew me skirt up was:
If there is a new album I'll give it a whizz in the hope that there's a few instrumentals, or guest vocalists on it.

that UNKLE track is superb to be fair. i loved the electronic radiohead side as much as their early rock stuff (it's just like radiohead meets the Aphex Twin so all gravy for me as i'm a huge fan of both) but i can 100% understand that some just don't like it at all and there were a lot of disappointed radiohead fans when they went in that direction (and if you listen to Atoms for Peace or Thom Yorke's solo album then it's pretty clear that was solely Thom's influence).
i reckon that now Thom has his own little project in Atoms for Peace where he can indulge his electro leanings, the new Radiohead album will be back to the traditional dreamy, melancholic, melody driven (and at times guitar based) stuff most are used to
