Proof that there is more than one way to skin a cat. And we took some pussies to the barbers that season.

There should be a statue of Rory Delap at the Brit, with a clockwork mechanism to reproduce the great man's throw-in action.

A good watch indeed!
Some other great moments that season as well beyond the goals such as the Hull keeper kicking the ball out for a corner rather than a throw in. Not just the act, but the way he changed his mind and the look on his face at the time.
Rory's bombs are sorely missed!

Brilliant video
Whelan vs villa was a mental and a half. Mind his goal v spurs away the following season was better. Simmo had a blinder that day.
Got to mention beattie v citeh. 10 men and an atmosphere of pure hatred. Brilliant day.

Fantastic watch, can't wait for the season to start.
Popped into the club shop this morning to get my Real Bettis tickets, sales going well, unreserved seating.

Cracking video and for all the moaning by other teams about our style of play we didn't have score some crackers that season.

It's beyond me how people have criticised Ric
Greenhoff , Hudson , Ritchie ,Fuller etc etc
He's in that company

That throw will be talked about a hundred years from now. Incredible. Even after such a short time I'd forgotten how awesome they were. The Fuller and Sidibe goals vs Villa give me goosebumps sometimes.

That fuller goal vs aston villa is just brilliant. Definitely a stoke legend. Along with Lawrence, him and fuller in that promotion season were top notch for us.

Very enjoyable. And now I have a new favourite Stoke City quiz question! Who provided the first assist for Stoke in the Premier League? Dicko!

I stand by my opinion that signing James Beattie kept us in the Premiership.

Yes James Beattie was a master stroke by TP, I think he made the difference. Never forgot Glen's goal at Villa, I was sitting in the Doug Ellis stand with the Villa fans and I couldn't contain myself,I had my own mental.

Superb - thanks to the OP.
With that squad, only one man could've got those performances and wins out of them. And PC was right to replace him when the players got better and we didn't have to play the way we did then. Fantastic judgement all round, you've all done us proud.
Hats off TP, it was a hell of a ride.
