How accurate is google?
I just tapped Walters into the search engine and it listed his salary as 2.75M back in 2010.
That's over 52k a week! That can't be right surely..?

Our wage bill may look big compared to usual but we are spending less on transfer fees & I believe the new T.V deal has put clubs in a lot better position.
There is even talk of Everton possibly ready to bid £15 million for Lukaku, which just goes to show how much more revenue the clubs are bringing in because Everton have been real strapped for cash these last few years.

Mind in fairness to Walters it could be also argued that he provides us with his fair share of entertainment. I mean who isn't gripped by watching a premier league player score 2 own goals, miss a penalty and then go on to kick the ball in his own face. All in 90 minutes of football.

Tuncay was very entertaining in fairness. It was always fun guessing what kind of strop he'd throw. As for SJW his contributions to keeping us in the Prem have deprived us of relegation to the Championship where we would undoubtedly have won more games and scored more goals. So, again, you're right......

After Wilson failed his medical it started alarm bells in my head, just how many players do we have on the payroll now. It's all very well saying they're all part of the squad, but it's not like we're in Europe & need them for midweek night matches. The books must be far from balanced. Can anyone allay my fears!?! Don't be fearful you aren't picking up the tab
