West Brom away around 3,000 tickets fans going mad saying ive been every away game and could not get a ticket. I go around 6-8 league away games on average a season and maybe a few good cup games and i went west Brom last season mainly due to my lady moaning i admit. Today i rang the ticket office up for a few Hull tickets, no problem loads left apparently. Where are these i go every away game fans? Surely after what they said about west brom this would easily sell out.

Got mine early thinking they would sell really quick being first away game, £16 and free travel if you want. That's before the feel good factor.
Surely we will sell out though.

Wow - some away games are more popular than others! And the last away game of a record breaking season against our near neighbours an hour down the road is more popular than most? Who'd have thunk it? This thread is a real eye opener so far!

Hull is the one game that is closer to home than home games for me. Oh, the luxury of getting home before 7.30!
Got my ticket with ease. Had to wait about three minutes in a phone queue. Conner wait.

Who'd have thunk it? This thread is a real eye opener so far! I think you realise his point LP Werrers, if I had applied for a Hull ticket and found that they were easy to get, I'd have said - "great, how nice not to have to queue and worry whether I'll manage to get one - must be something to do with it being on a Sunday, being awkward to get to and being on TV." Personally, the last thing on my mind would be to worry about who said what about getting tickets for the West Brom game last season. Especially as the Platinum and Platinum + etc. membership system (which upset so many people) doesn't exist any longer. That battle has been fought - and won - so why fight it again?

Lakeland. I'm being sarcastic. After getting my ticket today just thinking about all that moaning when on evidence we probably have around 1,000 die and hats off to em ever away gamers and the rest probably go the same amount as me.

Surely after what they said about west brom this would easily sell out. Put it this way there is not 3,000 that go to every game, let alone 3,000 that didn't get a ticket. I'll admit I don't do every away game, but I do most, but I can tell you for nothing there were more like 300 of us up at sunderland for example, not 3,000, so im not quite sure who all these people you mention are. Unless of course ive completely misunderstood what you are saying

Wonder how many fans have over 50 points and top priority from last season's aways? Total guess but I'd take a punt at 2,500.

Ps ...personally I think this game will sell out

Still undecided. Cheaper day out but a shit trek on a Sunday and on the TV. Could be one to watch at home or in the pub with the young un?

Hull was the worst atmosphere we generated away last season, IMO. Saturday tea time kick off was brutal but more songs on the concourse pre-match than in the stand. To be fair to Hull, they had a bee in their bonnet about Allam and were the best I heard last season. It would be good to take more than 1,000 this time and give 'em plenty back.

Our normal away crowd is about 1000 and this is a lunch time kick off, but it is the first away and cheap so who can predict?!

Bit of a funny one Hull.
Season hasn't started so not quite back into the groove of being au fait with what the up and coming games are or when the tickets sale dates are.
Got me and the lad a ticket but only because I was prompted by mates we are going with who are a bit more up to speed on sales date etc., otherwise I'd have left it a bit late.
I suspect quite a few are on holiday or about to go, sales will pick up nearer the time and we probably will have a decent turn-out.
Thumbs up to Hull for reducing the ticket prices given that it's Sunday lunch time ko, £24 for me and the lad is a bargain, if you were take up the free travel offer it's a relative cheap day out.

I agree with you but having a mrs and kids & a trip to Germany 2 weeks before I have to be mindfull of cash. I know the tickets are cheap but it could still be a 100 quid day and there is no chance of me getting the death buses from the Brit. :-)

Seems to me it's a pity having a season ticket every season since 1972 counts for nothing
