Happy Birthday to the big man! 22 today. I can't believe he is that young. Do you see him being a regular starter in a few seasons time?

Should be, as long as he does well out on loan if Sparky sends him out to a championship club. Im confident in Sparky and his teams ability to spot a classy centre half - After all, he was the one who uncovered such gems as Kompany and Chris Samba.

Possibly even this season if there's an injury! Looked very composed on the ball but it's a big step to the prem, time will tell!

Maybe, a loan will do him good. The Slovak league is not a comparison to the Prem. I hope he does, ideally alongside an Academy product

He's never 22. Something shady going on there me thinks.

I would expect our first competitive look at him will be in the early round of the Carling Cup.

On another thread someone was saying he would count as an u-21 player for us, that's not true though because he's 22 now, right?

Well after being in Germany yesterday, and seeing the game there.. He is at least a first sub, if not a starter at a center back position! Huth is a no brainer- guy can not pass the ball forward, every single possession went through Johny, he completed like 95% of the passes, won all his headers, made 1 error but he made up for it immediately afterwards.. But most of all- johny is left handed, while all other 3 natural center backs are right handed. I would not loan him out at all- it is just a question of short time till he is a regular in starting lineup..

I couldn't see him play yesterday because the stream messed up but this sounds the same as his performance in the first friendly where I thought he was excellent.

Glad to see he's doing well. Makes my profile pic look a little less stupid now When he is sold in a few years for like 20 times more than what he was bought for, then you'll look like the smartest person on this forum

Well if you see no advantage in having a natural left handed center back playing on left side and right hander on the right side.. Then i don't really see a point of answering to your post..

I hope he attends the Huth academy of badassness aswell. Excited for this one the most just as I've never seen him or heard of him until we signed him, it's like Christmas for the eyes to see how he does!
