Signed for Derby last weekend and today is having an operation on a cruciate knee injury sustained in their friendly against Zenit and is out for up to 9 months.Big blow for them because i thought they we're absolute certainties for promotion next season.

It could happen to anyone. You could spend £50 million on a world beater who's going to push you on to the next level and bam,he's out for the season and all your dreams go up in smoke That's what happened to us 74-75

Some people on here wanted us to sign him so lucky us! Not really, we didn't play against Zenit - so he'd have been ok with us!

They need to go and loan a player of similar quality as soon as they can and hope Thorne makes a full recovery. I wish they'd have come up instead of QPR.

Unfortunate yes, but you've just gotta forget about it get on with it.
Having said that I'm still gutted about what happened to John Devine in 1985!
