Things really do come in threes. All reasonably large airliners too.

I hate flying it freaks me out being 35,000 feet in the air in a big lump of metal tube,it's not natural. My biggest fear is being killed in a plane crash, what some of those poor souls must go through before dying doesn't bare thinking about

Reports unconfirmed but suggestions are that it's come down in Mali due to bad weather.

Wreckage found in Mali and now to find out the cause?

Wreckage still not confirmed (18:30) - But RIP to another plane load of innocents. Terrible run in recent times I guess the worry is that whole swathe of Africa is full of nutters with lord knows what weaponry, after the various revolutions and whatever. If the plane has gone down, lets hope its the weather, not a copycat; that would be a nightmare.

Bad as it is, let's hope that was the cause and not something else more sinister.
