That's an article by northstokie off here so I would hope he had noticed.

Written by a Stoke fan, so not really peoples opinions changing. But still a good read.

It's brilliant until you realise a Stokie wrote it, and it becomes merely very good.

"Sleeping giant". Nobody's used that phrase for us since we were languishing in the third tier We could just about get away with it back then, although the word "giant" was debatable even when we were a 3rd division club. Anyone who says we're a sleeping giant these days is talking nothing but rose tinted bollocks of the highest order.

Thanks for the kind words - the term sleeping giant might be one we've heard for years but in this context is the realisation that Stoke are starting to become a force again to the rest of the footballing world, especially given the ESPN site has a strong international audience

Fair play. Good to have the club represented by decent and balanced writing like that.

"It's a great time for Stoke fans -- with Muniesa last year and Bojan this season, I would implore Mr. Messi to start learning English and decide on his favourite oatcake filling in anticipation of his impending arrival in 2015."
Ha ha! I will dare to dream
