6,194 posts Joined:06-February 09 Location:Loughborough Posted 11 May 2014 - 05:13 PM No idea, because firstly there is still one team to be decided, then we have a summer of mad transfer action which could vastly improve or weaken a team. Also you've got a World Cup where important players could pick up injuries and miss chunks of the season.
I know it's a bit of fun, but right now it's actually impossible to predict anything at all. 1 Top #5 Lineker's Left Foot First Team

They've just spent £ 8 million on one player haven't they...?

I originally said all the three claret & blue teams will go down but after listening to a radio programme that featured a Leicester profile about the club, the players & their signings I think they will struggle.
I'd like to change my predictions for relegation to
18th Aston villa 19th Leicester 20th Burnley

Slightly over inflated sense of confidence over there it seems, they should be over the moon with just staying up
Unless they sign some better players they'll be down there with villa in my opinion

Don't ruin their Summer, let them enjoy their promotion to the fullest extent, then they will find out for themselves how difficult it will be.
For what it's worth, I think they will do okay. We finished mid table in our first year (with a bit of squad patching up in January) and I would expect the same of them. I think they will be a bit like Hull in the Phil Brown era, flying out of the blocks until Xmas and then injuries, suspensions and everyone else with stronger squad players will reel them in.

First 6 games:
H Everton A Chelsea H Arsenal A Stoke H Man Utd A Palace
October and November look more promising but a poor start could dent their confidence. They'll be in the bottom 3 by the start of October.

They'll be in the bottom 3 by the start of October. That's a horrible start to the season for a newly promoted team, especially when the games against us and Palace are away. They may pick up a win against Arsenal who always lose a game early on to one of the new teams in the league but they'll have done well to come out with 4 points from that lot.

They have the arrogance to think they'll walk it/us so why not?
