I watched it this morning and it was a wonderfully moving program. All concerned in the making deserve recognition for a great heartwarming story very well told.

Finally managed to watch it last night ...not ashamed to admit that I shed a tear or two but what a brilliant hour and a halfs watching that was. A credit to EVERYONE who was involved in the making of that. Ive never met the guy but would love to one day - WHAT A MAN ! I know that there was a thread a few days ago about making the Swansea game a celebration of Nellos time with the club etc. but is that official or just a suggestion put on here...? Is there ANYTHING confirmed ....? I would bust a gut to get to that one Yes it's going to happen and I'm sure the club will be announcing more details in due course

I, far too belatedly, got round to watching this truly uplifting and inspirational film with the wife last night. She loved it even more than me, wants to watch it again and got up singing Delilah!!! I knew of Nello from his time at Stoke, know Malcolm in person (though not too well), but did not really know or appreciate the full story until now. Not only does he illustrate several characteristics, some of which are almost indefinable, which go to make us Stokies such wonderful down to earth folk, he also exhibits the most upbeat and positive mindset I have ever witnessed in another human being.....we could all do with a bit of Nello in our lives.

Is it true that HRH Queen Elizabeth II turned up at Keele University this week and asked if Neil was in?

Talk about him being given the freedom of Stoke-on-Trent in the Sentinel today. Would that mean Nello never having to buy another drink or meal?

Is it true that HRH Queen Elizabeth II turned up at Keele University this week and asked if Neil was in? No. But last time she was up here visiting the University there was a photo of them both on the front of the Times and a bloke sitting next to me on then train asked 'who's that with neil"?

One thing I wondered, when Lou returned for his second spell, why didn't he take Nello on again? Any particular reason?

Doesn't it mean that he will also be entitled to drive a flock of sheep through the centre of Hanley on a Good Friday?

I didn't realize he was kept on after Lou left the first time. Makes sense though. So he left when we moved to the Brit?
