There is music and a choir in it which I think works really well and helps bind it together, but I wouldn't personally describe it as " part musical". The soundtrack on the clip is Budapest by George Ezra innit? Love that song, does it feature much? Whoever chose it showed great taste and foresight, it's still in the charts. I might be wrong, but I don't think it does, ely. I think all the music is sung by the choir established for the film, and which is the first thing you see

There's a difference between having some nice ambient music and making the sequel to Joseph and his Ridiculously Coloured Dreamcoat. It's being described like a Stephen Sondheim spectacular. I just hope the actual film is about Neil Baldwin and not some cheesy storyline. Well the film is most definitely about Neil, and it is certainly not a cheesy storyline - it's basically a true story, albeit a somewhat extraordinary and unexpected one. I think it's in your "ambient music" category but everyone will have to make their own judgement about the music. There is one song you are very familiar with

Julian Farino, the Director, has a great photo on his phone of kids on location ( I think near Halmer End, where "Neil's Flat" was) queueing to get an autograph - not of Toby Jones or any of the other actors but of the great man himself

I am quite certain you are gonna love it. Hilariously funny but also with pathos at times - you may need a hanky for tears of both laughter and sadnes, but ulitmately a hugely optimistic film about making the most of life and defying society's labels.

I had my daughter set up the I player for it. As far as BBC are now concerned my computer is English I'll be downloading as soon as it's released on there. No doubt the old boy has done us all proud. I took my daughter for a school interview & tour here today, she is moving up to Senior High next year. The reason for this irrelevant information is that there was a list of English universities who present to said school on an annual basis, one of which was Keele would you believe? So far from home yet so close

This is now really taking off far more than I ever imagined it would. Fantastic publicity for the area, the club and Keele University. I can imagine a spike in applications to Keele on the back of this and they'll be queueing up to play for NBFC.

And the FSF publicity guy has put up the brilliant Oatcake " play me or sell me" article from the early 90s on the FSF site www.fsf.org.uk/latest-news/view/fsf-chair-malcolm-clarke-in-toby-jones-bbc-comedy-dramaThanks for finding that, Dave

No problem Malcolm. I was speaking to Smudge about it the other night, and he said that Nello actually wanted that money. I'm not sure whether he got it or not.
