Can any one remember the ticket price last season & if we sold out or not? I'll be after 4 tickets on general sale for this one! Apart from the ticket price, decent away day? Ta

It was 45 Quid last season and didnt sell out, as with any away day in Manchester its what you make it. Had a blast last season but that was more down to the company i kept.

Manchester is always a great day out, don't let the football spoil it

Last time I went it was £37, don't think we've sold out there recently
Always enjoy it as an away day despite us usually getting turned over

Must admit I'm someone who goes to more away games than home games but this is one of the least attractive games to me.
A sure-fire, nailed-on defeat. I can sometimes just about live with that if it takes place at some great theatre of sport with a long and glorious history but when it is played out in an open plan athletics stadium it just seems to amplify the misery of it all.

I went a couple of seasons ago by train and we stayed in the Sports Bar at Piccadilly and then got a taxi to the ground. Not sure about any safe pubs nearer the ground, perhaps someone else can give you the names of any ? Cheers, Adie

Aren't we just parking the bus and fingers crossed for no worse than a 3-nil defeat. After all, they are a fantastic football club?

Head over to the Northern Quarter for a few scoops. Bit pricey but some good bars. Port St Beer House and Common are both decent. easy walk back to picc from there as well

Read about drinking at the printworks? any good? Could do with one near a train station.

Printworks isn't far from the station but the Northern Quarter is closer, and better. Printworks is just as expensive (if not more).

Loads of bars in the Northern Quarter, and not far from Picadilly.
Nearthe ground would be risky.

We went to a right dodgy one a couple of times and it was good as gold. Its boarded up now. Northern Quarter is a good call. Near to Piccadilly Station and you might even be able to get the tram to the ground.

Absolute loopy juice.

Isn't the Kippax pub on Grimshaw Lane still going ? only about a 10 minute walk to the ground, friendly locals in there

Tickets booked! £69 each for train & ticket. Cant wait! Not many seats left online?? Unless they open other blocks once the others have sold out?

We've begrudgingly coughed up for ours. Played 6 - Lost 6 Goals conceded - 16 Goals scored - 0 All points to an away win doesn't it??

They release seats bit by bit online so it's no real indication of how many are left. The other day it said Hull had sold out but then they released more. Doesn't bother me as i'm sorted for both!
