Folks, I know if I look hard enough I will find sports bars in Playa Blanca, but does any one have any recommendations as to where I can watch the Hull City match.
Thanks in advance.

There will be loads of pubs showing the football. I'm in Costa Teguise for that match. 2 Euros a pint which I'm hoping is the Canaries brewed 'Tropical'. Lovely stuff.

I've been living in Playa Blanca for a while now. Where abouts are you staying? If it's near the ferry port then Popeye's or the Irish Anvil will be best but if it's near Playa Dorada beach then there are plenty of bars just behind there in the Papagayo centro comercial that will be showing the match - DJs Sports Bar, Wax Bar, Jungle Bar, Harp Bar and more.

We stopped at the Natura Palace which is next door to the Rubicon and you are spoilt for choice. If you go out the back of the hotel and go left along the seafront for about 500 yards you come to some bars and shops & one had sky sports and good beer I loved it there. There were some new places being built in the other direction and Im sure a bar was one of them so check it out.Enjoy it

Just up the road living in Puerto Del Carmen mate, there are loads of sports bars with plenty of screens, just pop into the quieter ones if you can work that out and most if not all are more than happy to change one of the channels to show the Stoke game if it means they get your custom.
Playa Blanca is freaking beautiful mind!

Not wrong at all, it's about 5 euro on a bus to hop up here as well takes around 40 mins, although the bus journey home after a match would be interesting! Few good ones in PDC... The Venue, Linekers Bar, Sunset Beach or even some of the smaller cafes along the strip.. Plenty for you to choose from up here matey! Need any help give us a shout (Obviously intended for the OP) and I'll see what I can do for you

Bit off topic but for anybody on holiday over here with kids Stoke are holding a soccer school in the middle of August together with the local team in Puerto del Carmen. They've done this a few times now. I'm not involved in this so don't contact me directly (the contact details are on the link below) but just thought I'd spread the word what with living out here. Right, off to the beach now. Here's the link:- www.cdupuertodelcarmen.com/?page_id=1153

Watched a few stoke games in Wax bar in the precinct that Jimmy mentions. It's next to Princessa Yaiza. Was always a few stokies in there and they show multiple games. Really recommend it.
