Glad to have another Orlando city supporter here. I became a stoke fan when Rawlins started the team back in austin. I was sad to see them move but glad mls is in the teams future. give it 4 years and the austin aztex will be there with you.
And have fun at bars early in the morning. Being the only potter in a sea of man u and arsenal fans is more then fun.

got another Florida supporter here. Just over in St Petersburg. Also if you have Bright House Cable the Extra Time channel way at the end of the dial have all the games on there for free. I used to stream it online through the app until i realized that. It was really a game changer.
I also grew up about 10-15 minutes away from where GCam grew up and played.

When you consider the 1863 part of the badge, it makes us the 2nd oldest professional football club probably in the World. Put another way this was 18 years before the gunfight at the OK corral. I have not quite been following them for that long, but I am old enough to have seen the great team of the early 70's. The exciting part is that in my view Mark Hughes is building a squad which could be remembered in the same way, so you are joining at a great time. Enjoy the ride, and try and get to the Brit someday, not the biggest and most sophisticated stadium in the world, but on it's day, it's rocking. Odd connection - in Leek (major base for Stoke fans) we had a two day event last week-end including much line dancing named; Gunfight at the Oatcake corral Made no sense to me either

Welcome to the club! The people on here will make you feel at home! Its a good community on here, and any quetions will happily be answered. A quick forum heads up. 1. Hackett and SLP hate each other. Laugh as you watch them sling insults to each other. 2. When chugga goes to the MLS, he'll want your settee and will make a forum thread about it. That's it. Welcome aboard And don't refer to it as the EPL. Welcome! i'm visiting the keys in october. Any recommendations? Key west where big liners depart from, be there for the evening, 5pm ish, streets come alive with stalls, street entertainers etc, great atmosphere, and supposed to be great sunset, although the day we went it was cloudy! Mates saw it day before though and said it was stunning.

I've loosely followed EPL for years and then last summer I decided to find a team to support. I had no interest in supporting a front runner who bought titles. The club had to be known for a physical style and passionate, borderline crazy, supporters. Searching the internet Stoke City kept coming up. I began to research the club and watch videos of supporters and some old games. I was apprehensive with a new manager taking the helm and uncertain how the style would change, but watching videos of supporters singing, "Delilah" sold me. When I found that my local club, Orlando City Lions, had some deep connections with Stoke City it just seemed destined to be and thus every Saturday and some Sundays last season was spent watching Stoke City matches on my laptop. connections with Orlando City: Phil Rawlins, former Stoke Owner and current Orlando City President ( Mr Rawlins has taken OCSC from a third tier US side to a MLS side in a few shirt years) Adrian Heath Manager, former Stoke Player Son of former Manager Anthony Pulis plays for Orlando City Both often use 4-2-3-1 formation Welcome, love Florida, I live local to Stoke, a little town called Kidsgrove about 10 miles north of Stoke, no doubt this will evoke other Stokies to slag off Kidsgrove but I have spent my life here and survived thus far! Once again welcome to all U S of A followers.

I plan on using wiziwig for eveey game if game not on tv. Every game is on tv through NBC or NBC extra time. We've got more coverage here in the states than any other country world wide. Every last match is televised unless you have a really bad provider.

Welcome. Another Floridian here - St Augustine way. Formerly of Ocala so that's pretty cool. Caught the Stoke bug in '08 and have been over for several games - so am now completely hooked.

I'm amazed at how many of you "new world" supporters apparently pop over for the odd game. Do you fly in/fly out or do you bundle the football in with a more extended North Staffs adventure? Do you factor in a visit to the Gladstone Pottery museum, a night time ascent of mow cop and a couple of hours at the Monkey Park?
Edit: this is an honest and genuine question and not intended as a swipe at perceived glory hunters or new supporters. TB

TB Typically tie my game trips in with visiting friends up in the wee north as well as playing tourist in all other areas. Waiting for when the wife comes with me to visit the pottery museums. Trip this September at QPR will tie in with Ryder Cup at Gleneagles. Thinking about the Christmas Holiday period this year - 3 games in 7 days. That one will take some serious negotiations with the boss (wife of course). Even made a roadie at Sunderland couple years back. Couldn't understand them folks for nothing.

Join the most loyal supporters in the world -see the thread " Shotton the marmite man". Folk tend to be loyal to the club not individual players though. Players will always come and go, be shit/not shit etc..
