Great. He's unshiftable. TwitterQatar Sports Club overlooked to sing with #Honduras notional team player "Wilson Palacios" because he didn't pass the medical examination
WTF!!!

Fair to say he's absolutely un-get-rid-of-able now.

Is this kiddie still at the club bayernoatcake ? Jordan Rico R' @jordanrico10 · 16m Gutted to hear Wilsons failed medical! Always have so much respect for the guy! I don't care what haters say he's an incredibly talented... ...footballer and more importantly and all round genuine good man, he's not been givin the chance he deserved the past few years.... But would like to wish him the best of luck at his new club wherever it may be! Muchas gracias por todo y buena suerte amigo ???? #palacios
@stokieeladd Demba Ba FAILED a medical at Stoke a few years ago... Look at him now
@stokieeladd i guarantee if you ask every player at the club ,the majority would say he's good enough to start week in week out??
@mev1863 thanks mate! It's just frustrating to see people having a go when they don't see his ability everyday.. he needs to be appreciated and trust me he will prove a lot of people wrong mate????

Scrolling through his Twitter and found this Tweeting his mate about his dislike of Bardsley, shame he left just as Bardsley had joined!

No. It's why he's teeing off I'd suggest. Ha I'm sure he is a nice bloke and all-round good egg. But he is on £30,000-a-week - and managers as chalk-and-cheesey as Hughes and Pulis just don't trust him. I'd be interested to know if his medical failure was knee-related, but don't suppose we'll find out

I guess Palacios will just run down his contract at our place now and then retire and go back to Honduras with his dosh and lead the life of riley I suppose the best thing you can say about this is that it puts to bed the argument once and for all as to who is our worst ever buy.

He would be captain at Blackpool first day. But seriously, what direction does he go in now?

Yes, that's what we need - an employment tribunal which we would certainly lose! However, if the injury is career ending we could probably claim off insurance, terminate his contract and pay him the balance from the insurance pay out. If, more likely, his problem is deemed not to be career ending, then we should try a loan deal on the following basis: No fee. The new club pays his wages. They have the right to send him back if his fitness deteriorates. In a year's time he becomes a free agent.

Without doubt the worst signing the clubs made.

Without doubt the worst signing the clubs made. The only way you can terminate his contract (unless he agrees) is to pay him the WHOLE of the wages due to the end of that contract. If you don't do that you get taken to a tribunal WHICH YOU LOSE and which means you would have to pay the wages due PLUS his costs and the club's costs. Far cheaper to loan him out and recoup some or all of the wages you pay him. I think you can assume that the Coates family are well aware of contract and employment law. They didn't get where they are without being aware of things like that.

It begs the question - did he pass a medical with us or did we ignore the results, as we did with Fuller?

IMO, get rid, whatever the cost..or let him rot and get fatter in the reserves. Just get him away from the first team.

It begs the question - did he pass a medical with us or did we ignore the results, as we did with Fuller? To be fair, either his condition deteriorated since we signed him, or, the Qatar Sports Club have decided they don't want to complete the deal and have decided to use an injury as an excuse. I doubt that we'll ever be told which it is.
