Now correct me if I am wrong, but didn't somebody from the club (Tim Gallimore I think) say that the reason it was so critical that the cheap season ticket offer works is because it then makes it easier to do special matchday prices without alienating those that have forked out for the season ticket. While no details have come out yet I would imagine this could involve: 1. Limited season tickets maybe 10 games for a ton or 5 for £50, not quite as good value as the full season ticket, but never-the-less top value and the one,as an exile, I am waiting for. 2. kids for a quid deals, get the whipper snappers in early. 3. Maybe classification of games £20 for an A class (West Brom, Leeds,Derby, Forest) £15 for a B class( Ipswich, Norwich,Sheff Utd) £10 for a C class (Crewe , Wigan, Watford) match. 4. The final 6 for £60 type deals, especially good if we have something to play for. 5. Plus if we have 10000+ season ticket holders you can always do the let the season tickets holders bring a mate for a £5 type promotions I am sure there are loads of other schemes the club could investigate as well, suffice to say they would have to be completely stupid ( and plainly they no longer are!!) not to finish what they have started with the cheap season ticket offer.
