I honestly think that Arsenal will go very close.
Lining up in a 4-2-3-1, the options they've got for the attacking midfield 3 are frightening (Podolski, Oxlade, Ozil, Cazorla, Walcott), then leading the line it's going to be either Giroud or Sanchez (who might also play wide right), with Joel Campbell as back-up. They're also sniffing around Loic Remy.
The midfield two will be any pair from Wilshere, Ramsey, Arteta and probably a new defensively-minded addition.
Weakest point is probably defence, but Mertesecker and Koscielny improved a lot last year, and their full back options are decent enough.
Still available at 17/2, and I can't see that much difference between the quality of their squad and those of Man City and Chelsea. Long way to go yet, but I think it'll be very close between them and Mourinho's lot.

Sadly I have a real bad feeling that The Shit are going to do really well under their new Dutch manager and wouldn't be surprised if they aren't adding more to their gloryhunting hordes again come the end of the season.

Chelsea. Should be another good title race though with Arsenal,Man City running them close. Man Utd will definitely improve on last season and Liverpool will still be strong despite losing Suarez. I agree with the OP about Arsenal being there or thereabouts, especially if they sign Khediera, but I just think Chelsea will be the team to beat this year.

Chelsea. They've finally got a decent striker, bought Fabregas and brought some shit hot kids back in from loans. Plus Jose hasn't fallen out with Abramovich yet.
City seem to added yet more super expensive yet distinctly average players Man United will run close but it will take time to bed a new manager and players in Arsenal will run close but ultimately bottle it again Liverpool will be nowhere without the savage

BM I think they've got a lot of ground to make up in terms of their squad, but there's plenty of time to do it yet. As things stand, I'm predicting that Chelsea and Arsenal will be the top two, and the two Manchester clubs will be fighting for third place. City have by far the better squad at the moment, but I think they might become a bit stretched once Champions League gets underway. If Toure's sulking as well I think they'l struggle to retain the title. I can't see Liverpool coping without Suarez, while Spurs need a complete overhaul. Everton could even finish above either if they can replace Lukaku.

Man U not being in the CL will keep them fresh and help them but I just think there squads too weak. Chelsea for me. Arsenal will find a way of throwing it away.

Can't call it next year. It's so close.
Man City look a bit more fragile - with Aguero looking injury-prone and Yaya chucking his dummies out. Liverpool without Suarez are half the team. Chelsea will be there or therabouts as they always are. Man United will be a lot better - but still seem a few top players off. Arse will definitely be up there too. They're starting to look a proper challenger.

I honestly don't care who wins the league. Same goes for who will be relegated.
The only thing I'm interested in is a Stoke - of course winning the League is sadly beyond us, relegation though isn't. Although, with the squad Hughes has built and the way he has us playing we should avoid a relegation battle this season.

Man Utd will probably do better under Van Gaal but I see Man City winning it again in all honesty. Liverpool will miss Suarez so I'd say Chelsea will be the closest contenders. You talk about Arsenal midfielders but they still haven't got a Yaya Toure. Again, you mention the attacking options but they still haven't got an Aguero. Not convinced by their defence either.

If Ramsey hadn't got injured last season, they would have been very close. A few season back Van Persie got injured and that cost them the title. Either they need to improve their medical staff, or need to seriously strengthen the depth of the squad. I agree, they have as good a chance of any of the top clubs.

The way things are going, Man City might not have a Yaya Toure either! Honestly think their focus could be on the Champions League this year, and with a restricted squad to choose from I'm expecting a lot of rotation in the league. Aguero's great on his day but needs to stay fit for longer than 5 minutes. Sanchez could be Arsenal's answer to Aguero- difficult to know how foreign players will adjust, but he's certainly not going to weaken them. Arsenal's biggest challenge might be their mentality if they do get into a strong position late in the season. Liverpool bottled it...Arsenal might too.

I think it would be great for football for Arsenal, with their fine footballing heritage and tradition, to put in a genuine title challenge like Liverpool did last season.
And then for Wenger to fuck it up right at the end, Gerrard style, and suffer a mental breakdown so severe he does something that permanently destroys the club before winding up in a mental hospital.

Arsenal are a lot stronger than a few years ago, they still lacking at the back though and need a top defensive midfielder.
I can't see past Chelsea this season provided they bring in a striker, Fabregas is a great signing for them as well.
I think Man Utd will struggle again, aside from Mata, Rooney and RVP they're distinctly average.

Fair enough Arsenal are stronger in their forward line now, but have they done anything to sort their inevitable defensive frailties? They've lost one of their more consistent performers in Sagna.
But should be another close one this year like last time, plus most likely Man Utd will be back up there I feel...
