Can only be a good thing?
Hopefully we can start to make this a regular thing for the academy

I'd say so, I liked Eddy when I've watched them and it's good to see him getting some recognition.

Its good to see no doubt France have a wealth of talent as well so he must be doing something right to get into that setup.
Just wondered about his age and a quick look on the club website which is surprisingly up to date and helpful it would appear he's 21 in a couple of days so Happy Birthday Eddy in advance. I wonder what the club think of him in terms of long term.

I'm almost certain that's wrong. He's 18 at most I think. He's in the U-19s for France to start off with and I swear he played in the 21s last season despite being in U18 squad.

Haha well the OS takes one step forward by having profiles and three steps back with incorrect data. I did wonder if the U-19s allowed x number of overage players to play and with him being '21' later this week then he might have qualified. Great news if he's only 18 then.

My guess is that they replaced old profiles with new ones and forgot to change the date. Transfermarkt and the French FA website reckon 6th August 1996, so he's 18.

Haha Unbelievable. I hope to god we don't employ anybody in some sort of paid capacity to update the OS its truly amateur hour stuff.

Sounds like the U-12s are doing well in this tournament in Belgium to remember the 'WWI Christmas Truce'
So far 2 wins out of 2 against QPR and Newcastle with games against Liverpool and Southampton this afternoon.

I'm pretty sure he's not 17, he doesn't play for the U-21's for a reason......

The U-21's are playing Villa at Macclesfield tonight. The team includes this Will Miles, who is on trial from Burgess Hill Town FC. They play at level 8 in the pyramid and have only lost 2 games all season, twice vs Dartford of the Conference (level 5). bhtfc.co.uk/player/will-miles/The team sheet from @paulruane on Twitter.

We've beat Mansfield 3-0 in the FA Youth cup. N'Goy, Renee-Pringle and Jarvis with the goals.
Man City away in the next round, where we'll probably play at their flash new 7,000 seater academy stadium.

Do we think N'Goy will be fast tracked like Shenton? He seems to be doing really well.

Not yet I don't think. He's missed a hell of a lot of football and is just scoring goals. I haven't seen his general play mind so can't comment on that. I think come April/May we'll probably see him on the bench for the U-21's.

Can I just ask where N'Goy was from the summer until December time?

We were wrangling over a transfer fee I was led to believe.

And the final result of all that wrangling?
We probably got him for 50k cheaper but he missed 6 months of vital development, at an age where you need it most.
