I reckon his age will go in his favour, pleading not guilty will go against him, I reckon 4 yrs, out on licence/tag after 18 months.

His ex wife put the daughter up to it as a woman scorned in fact wasn't one of the first questions his ex-wife asked the police "Will i still be able to sell the story to the papers?" scandal really and says it all about the media that people who are found to be completely innocent still have their name tarred with same brush as people like Hall and Harris...once it's been put out there by the media it's extremely hard to call that boat back in and the innocent party suffers for years nonetheless.

Harris has got 5 years nine months and will probably be out after three. Those three years will cost the taxpayers £1m where actually a £10m fine with compo to the victims would hurt him more. His family and extended family are very wealth on the basis of his noncing

His family and extended family are very wealth on the basis of his noncing That's probably true, but why do you want to punish his family? As far as I am aware, and I might be wrong as I haven't followed this case, there has been no suggestion that his mrs or kids knew what was going on, has there? Their punishment is the shame they currently feel and the fact that their lives have been ruined (yes, I know the victims have too). By all means compensate the victims, and hopefully pay the court costs and inprisonment costs from the family funds, but there seems little to be gained from making them destitute.

He used his fame to fiddle kids and get wealthy He shouldn't stay wealthy when he gets out. His family shouldn't have the benefit of the wealth he gained whilst kiddie fiddling If his wealth was made in criminal activities they would take it off him. There is a slight argument that this is similar.

His family and extended family are very wealth on the basis of his noncingTo be accurate, I don't think he was raking in all that money over the years for his ability to molest and nonce kids. Unless he stole their pocket money at the same time, his actual income from noncing would be very little.

He's been sent to Wandsworth prison which was always known as 'Britains worst prison' with cells measuring 10 x 6.
Max Clifford and Charlles Bronson are both former inmates.
If he doesn't top himself , then they'll kill him. No doubt about this whatsoever .
He'll be target número uno.

There is a slight argument that this is similar. although we're all agreed that he's an arsehole of the highest order salop, i think it's a bit tenuous (at best) to liken those 2 scenarios. Harris didn't get wealthy because of his "noncing"....his wealth may have accommodated the luxury of being able to get away with it because of his position as a celebrity but his offences were not committed because he was wealthy and his wealth wasn't built up because of his offences. i do agree that he should pay massive compensation and that probably will wipe him and his family inheritance out but his family being left with nothing is a mere consequence of his actions (in the same way that Liverpool being without Suarez is a consequence of his actions but not directly a punishment for the club)

I’m sorry, but there is no “slight argument that this is similar” to a case involving money made as a result of criminal activities. He’s going to die a shunned, unloved, shamed broken down old man. Money won’t change any of that. But, What little wealth may be left after the costs, compensation claims, etc are settled was actually earned legitimately. It was not made as a result of his extra-curricular activities and, as a result, I think his wife and family have a right to some if not all of his earnings just as they would in any family estate.

Would you prefer an official Home Office report or prefer to stick with your brothers opinion.? I don't have a brother, but my bro in laws position would be different. Look i'm not saying they are perfect but it is not how they portray it on the news..for example take my Mum..she had a stroke a couple of months ago,she was taken to stoke hospital, then moved to Cannock, and then to a home in Stafford..she was taken ill in the home , moved to Stafford Hospital, caught MRSA, whilst in Hospital, we were told she would be fine within a week, and then they would release her back to Maple Court...They released her, but did not tell the home that she had MRSA, when at the home , they isolated her for three weeks, said that they would take swabs & send them off, but did nothing. this is the case now.. what i'm getting at is that don't always rely on what the papers or people say, Stafford Hospital could not give a F*** about Mum, as they wanted the bed back, The home treat her as if she is on deaths door, she was talking nonsense because of the drugs. I had a call on Tuesday from Debs, telling me that she will be gone in a matter of days, now she is so much better, its unbelievable. All i'm saying is, don't trust what you read or see..as for Stafford Hospital , we are so disappointed in them. I know i've gone off the subject, but Rolf has let me down as he was a character i grew up with. Anyway good night all.. TEST
