My little lads kits have arrived today and they are absolutely massive on him.
I bought the Small Youth (aged 7) but they drown him. He is 6, albeit a short 6.
I have the shirt and shorts for the Home and Away strips, complete with Premier League badges and the Green Keepers shirt with 1 Begovic on the back.
If anyone wants to buy them off me for their 7 year old, I will happily sell them at the price I paid, throwing in the Premier League badges (2 x £ 6) and the 1 Begovic (£ 12) for nowt.
The socks didn't arrive as apparently they haven't come into stock yet.
I live in Burnley but am driving down to Stoke early tomorrow morning in the hope that the large infants (advertised as aged 5) will fit him, so I can drop in the kits to any takers in the morning in exchange for the relevant sum of money.
I am supposed to leave for Turkey tomorrow morning at 11.30am, so my aim is to leave Burnley early, get to the shop at 9am prompt, get the new kit and be back in Burnley for 10.30am so the wife doesn't moan about me not being around in the morning to help with the last minute packing and stuff.
Any takers, message me via here!
Fingers crossed lads and lasses. I am guessing Stoke won't take them back because they have names and premier league badges on them.
EDIT - For clarification, I have paid £ 173 for the 3 kits (shirts and shorts) and will sell to anyone that wants them for their 7 year old for £ 153.

They may take the keepers one with Begivic on mate as they can just put that back on the rack as people would put that on the back anyway

Won't they refund you?

Not sure mate. Hopefully I can just swap them tomorrow but with having the Badges and the Begovic on them, maybe that will be personalising them, which negates the returns policy.
I wouldn't normally pre-order but we go on holiday tomorrow so I wanted to get them for my boys before we went.

I can't see why they wouldn't, especially this early with sales as there will be someone else who'll want one with badges and what not I'd imagine. Good luck with Your trek!

I can leave mega early though to miss that. I can't get into the club shop any earlier than 9 though so am hamstrung really thereafter if there are problems.
I am getting loads of flak already. Might need to head down now and stay at my mums! :-)

She is away in Spain at the moment and my boy wants his kits before we go to Turkey tomorrow. The things you do for kids and Stoke? I only pre-ordered them to save having to make this trek down to Stoke tomorrow. Typical!

I mentioned on a thread yesterday that there is no size for a six year old. It's fucking crazy. I think I'm in the same boat as you. My 6 year old is a small 6. But my fear is the 5 year old kit won't last 6 months before he grows out of it and the 7 year old kit will swamp him.

I responded to you with what sounded like a logical explanation as to why you/I/we would be OK with our boys. I was obviously basing it on Adidas and the perception that they were as bad a supplier as there could possibly be. It is crazy, given the size of the first youths shirt and shorts, that there isn't one for the 5-7 age bracket. Seriously, come the end of the season, this shirt and shorts will still be too big for my lad and he will be well into his 7's by then.

Fingers crossed. My boy was in floods of tears earlier tonight and has begged me to get up early so as to make the journey down to Stoke tomorrow morning.
Mummy isn't best pleased but when it comes to Stoke, what the boy wants, the boy gets! :-)
Good luck to us both!

Stage 1 of operation Stoke kit complete.
The club refunded me for the Home and Away kits and I replaced them with the largest infant kit, which by the measurements, is the same size as his school shirt and shorts so fingers crossed.
I've had to keep the green keepers shirt because it has Begovic 1 on it so if anyone wants a Green Keepers strip, it is available to a good home for the princely sum of £53 (shirt and shorts). Your kid can have the Begovic printing on me (£12).
Credit to the young lad that served me. He was brilliant.
Now I just need to get back to Burnley in good time so the wife doesn't kill me. She thinks I'm mad and would probably be right. :-)

Why the fuck would anyone get Begovic on the top during a transfer window!? you thick twat! He's 6 years old numb nuts so he chooses what he wants. If Bego goes, he will still have the name of the worlds best keeper on his shirt and he is happy with that. He had 10 Fuller on last seasons away shirt and Huth on the home one. 10 mins from Burnley now so stage 2 is complete. Just hope the bastard things fit now! :-)

Get some kebabs down him. A good point well made. I got back before my 10.30 deadline and the kits fit. Pretty sure he will grow out of them before the season is out but never mind. As an aside, the kits are really nice but the actual quality doesn't look as good as the adidas ones.
