A very expensive, lazy donkey of a player. All that talk from Sunderland fans of him being world class 1 game in 4 was rubbish. It was more like 1 in 20. Couldn't find his backside with his own hands.

I really dislike KJ, always have but he was more suited to the way TP played than Crouch.

I thought he could have been better utilised by TP, but he does himself no favours at all and we're far better off without him. He's just a bit of a clown.

If his attitude was right we wouldn't have had a look in with signing him, he is a class player but like you say, is lazy, no way is he a donkey of a player.

Never thought KJ was ever worth the money paid for him in transfers and that goes to show just how bloody daft transfer fees can be.

When he felt like it he was an unstoppable force of nature, but as has been pointed out he exerted so much energy in these good games that he needed a few weeks off after, watching Netflix and masturbating before he looked even half-arsed again.

When Gomis came on I said "fuck, when did Swansea sign Kenwyne Jones" then when Emnes came on my brother in law said "when did they sign Kenwyne's brother"

There was a point in his career, where he actually had the physical build and technical ability to be something really special, especially when he was at Sunderland and pundits were talking about a big move for him. The thing that has always let him down has been his attitude, his terrible terrible attitude. He doesn't want it for long enough. His attention span seems to only last for a few games. Once he's lost interest, he really does look like he cannot be arsed. You can imagine him running round the pitch thinking "fuck, I wish I was at home, I forgot to set the Sky Box to record X Factor". We were lucky that we got one really great season out of him, but from then on, he was bang average in general.
I remember once chatting to some Chelsea fans who said if he applied himself a bit more, he has all the physical attributes and skill to compare with someone like Drogba. I laughed and said "he's not fit to lace Drogba's boots". Kenwyne will ultimately go through the same cycle he always has. He will play a few more games for Cardiff where he fails to apply himself, then he'll drop to the bench. He'll then fail to make any impact (or run) when coming off the bench and he'll be relegated to squad player with the occasional substitute appearance. Come the end of the season, he'll move to somewhere, probably in the Championship although his stock may fall to League 1 where he'll score 5 goals in 5 games and then rinse and repeat from the previous season.
You only have to compare him to someone like Cameron Jerome who may not have much talent, but has a good attitude and desperately wants to play football, to see why one will be a far more useful striker than the other this season.

When Sparky arrived and used Kenny very successfully in the early League Cup games I had high hopes that we may have seen a return of a decent striker, but again he failed to deliver when it looked like he was about to be rewarded with first team nogger. He went on the text offensive when we needed him. Poor. Someone on here summed him up perfectly as a flat-track bully. He doesn't even seem to be that any more.
I don't agree that he was more suited to Pulis-style. He may have physically looked the part, but Tone demanded 'effort', not one of Kenny's strong points, and I don't think he has the footballing intelligence to be part of a front two partnership. If he could be arsed I think he'd have been far more suited to a front three: Moses one side, Odemwingie the other and a firing Jones leading the charge would have been irresistible.
He'll be off abroad surely.

I saw the game last week end and the bloke couldnt be arced at all he was useless. Arguably one of the best pieces of business we've done since we got in the prem was offloading him for Odemwingie. If Tone could have found a way of combining Jones' physique with Walters' work rate then he'd have found his perfect player.

I seem to remember that he was centre forward and top scorer in the one and only season we reached the FA Cup Final in our 151 year history. Oops, sorry - stand by for abuse from foul-mouthed posters !
