Then we move on and find better value. It's not like we're desperate for him. Just because Liverpool massively overpaid him doesn't mean we have to make the same mistake. But he's tried and tested in red and white He excited me from day one while Arnie was still throwing his arms about and looking at his feet...players and manager love him Like you do me You'd never find another frase Probably because i'm not looking for one. I'm still trying to shake the one i have

If he had made the move straight away, I would have been excited by this move. Now after Liverpool and he have played silly buggers with us, I frankly can't be arsed with him. Move onto another target

Does anyone know if he's definitely currently fit? He's not in the 33 in America. And all the Liverpool youth squads are on a fortnight-long camp in Holland and he hasn't figured there either. He's either injured, or he's been wiped from the map. Or liverpool fully expect him to be a Stoke player next season.

He seems to have been in hiding for the last 3 wks. Sentinel from JuneAnd presumably if he does turn up here in the next couple of days, we're 100% sure he's not got any long-term knee issues (as we at least claimed was a major sticking point last month)

Even if he has been training with a fitness trainer there is no way he will be anywhere near match fit for the start of the season
Given his injury lay off could be at least until end of September

I would much rather have Redmond I'm not sure about this. Both players are very decent but Redmond really flattered to deceive last year only scoring once and creating very little. Assaidi isn't perfect but he looks far more direct and a greater goal threat. Ideally we'd get both but I think if just about prefer Ossie.

The Sinclair who played at Swansea would fit us like a glove - a goal scoring winger with 28 league goals to his name. But he's done nothing at Citeh (not his fault) and in a season at West Brom he only managed 6 league starts and no goals and spent most of his time on the bench. Sadly, it looks as if the Sinclair at Swansea doesn't really exist anymore. I'd steer clear unless Hughes KNOWS of a reason why he was so unproductive at the Baggies. Pity.

Plays on the wrong side though John - the left. As you've already correctly said, in our formation we need somebody who can play on the right, who can cut in and shoot with his left foot.

So then, what flank does this Bahoui play on then? Right footed and appears to play either on the right as a conventional winger or on the left as a striker/reverse winger. Powerful unit by the looks of him.

Stoke Loud & Proud
4 mins · Edited ·
More talks have taken place with Assaidi and his Agent. Stoke were informed that his agent is prepared to lower his demands so a meeting has taken place, seems he has lowered them but not enough for Stoke's liking. Looks like it still no nearer, the saga continues (Marc)

Hmm interesting.
We really could do with a winger in before the start Inge season, but it doesn't look forthcoming now.

And he'll keep lowering his demands until they meet ours because I'm pretty certain we won't budge on this one. Still, his agent can keep trying if he want's to waste everybody's time.

I can't imagine we'll wait forever and if he doesn't come into line with what we are prepared to pay then he could be out in the cold as there doesn't appear to be a queue forming for him.
