Everton vs Man City next week
I reckon Everton fans might actually want to lose that game to avoid handing the title to their scouse counterparts

What was the difference between Dzeko's tackle just and Shawcross's - none, except the Palace player just got up and the ref used common sense

I'll keep saying it but it's fucking cringeworthy of them to sing it.
It's like us singing a version of Blue Moon....oh hang on they stole that as well.

Telegraph minute-by-minuteIt says something about the dramatic turn around in form at Selhurst Park that the much maligned former boss of Stoke City RUFC is one of the favourites to be named boss of the season by his peers.
We all remember Pulis at Stoke: long balls to Kenwyne Jones, and later Peter Crouch; crass defence of horrendous Ryan Shawcross leg breakers; Jon Walters treated like the greatest player to have ever set foot on a football field. The fans sang “Swing Low Sweet Chariot” and Arsene Wenger spent his afternoons in the Potteries looking like a heart attack victim waiting to happen.
That was Tony Pulis – uncultured, unpleasant, dressed like the cellar man from a council estate pub with a flat roof. In the end even Stoke, who he’d promoted and secured in the Premier League, seemed weary of him and decided to try something new.
Now we’re wondering why he wasn’t given a shot at the England job. It turns out that Pulis’ “horse for a course” defence of his methods at the Britannia Stadium might have been accurate after all – handed a Palace team that had lost seven and drawn one of its first nine games he’s made stars of unlikely heroes like Jason Puncheon.
With only Marouane Chamakh by way of a target man, Pulis has focused on the pace at his disposal and made Palace a quick, aggressive, threatening team capable of standing toe to toe with the best in the league and outscoring them. Chelsea have been beaten 1-0 on this ground, Everton beaten 3-2 on their own patch.

Stoke under Pulis played like Bristol City under Pulis, like Plymouth under Pulis, like Gillingham under Pulis and like Pompey under Pulis. It won't be long before Palace start to look like the Stoke City of last season.

To be honest I dont mind the Delilah/Toure song, it acknowledges the impression we left when they won their first silverware for 30 odd years
