I agree, it shows intransigence rather than a level of common sense. Having a "No to all EU policy" is a cop out and demonstrates a lack of leadership.
However, it's quite another thing to suggest that UKIP are pro ivory trade, and this smacks of opportunistic biased reporting.

It shows they don't have common sense and would you vote for somebody who doesn't have common sense?

It's got nothing to do with common sense. The only reason Ukip are in the EU parliament is to cause disruption and to go against anything the EU is in favour of.
I've voted Ukip for years and will continue to do so.
With all the corruption in British politics voting for the 'loonies' is the only option

With all the corruption in British politics voting for the 'loonies' is the only option If UKIP came out as a pure protest party, then I'd agree with you, but they try to portray themselves as a fully functioning policy political party with ambitions to govern. UKIP can not have it both ways and be respected at the same time. If all they wanted to do is protest about Europe, then their "No to everything" strategy would be legitimate. But they say they are the real deal, and therefore they should have the balls to act like a proper political party and make decisions.
