Still, nothing on earlybirds! Final sales total was dissappoining? I think you can be certain the figure will not be disappointing.

I just don't get why it matters so much to people ainfluence at difference it makes to them if we sold 22k or 22 ? Really? Oh well, that's where we differ then. Personally, I don't get why it matters to you that someone should post a question that you have no interest in. Unless, of course, you want to influence what's posted. Quite right cuckoo this Werrington chap gets on his high horse way to often for my liking and he seems to me to have a hidden agenda, there is nothing like transparency from the club giving out needed information, the last thing I need is to find out I will have a block to my self again like the good old days, Stand down Werrington we need figures and we need them now!!

Maybe they are a little disappointing, but a few "good signings " will encourage some new fans to get a season ticket once the Seat swap has finished.
Then hopefully, positive news on many fronts.

I'm not happy with this.
Early movements in the transfer market, excellent season ticket sales, attractive football with skilful players, established top flight club........
.......it's far too bloody positive........
.......somebody climb up on the Boothen roof and make sure it's nailed on well......and while they're at it then they can hide Hughsies mobile in case any other clubs come sniffing.

Not really disappointing, still 2000 up on last year for me shows that MH has done a terrific job. Attractive football , highest league position, record points, decent players now coming in & judging season ticket sales its going to be mainly sell outs for next season. He really has stepped us up another level, all credit to a bloke that got ripped apart 18 months ago. Things couldn't look more positive for this football club.

What's the previous record? According to the Sentinel, the early bird record is "more than 19000" in 2012. But anything between 18-19000 early birds seems to translate to 21-22000 in total. So hopefully we're back in that kind of range. 2010-11Stoke sold 18,000 season tickets by their early-bird deadline for the cheapest prices in March. 2011-12STOKE City have equalled their record for early season-ticket sales after more than 18,000 fans beat last night's deadline for the cheapest deals.2012-13City's income has also been boosted by record season ticket sales at the end of the Early Bird campaign. Stoke have sold more than 19,000 tickets, putting them on course to beat the 22,000 they eventually achieved for the current season 2013-14STOKE City sold 16,500 'Early-Bird' season tickets, a fall of 12 per cent on last year's total.

Good news and going in the right direction again. A star signing could really push this up

Surely if you intend having a season ticket for next season you would have bought it when it was cheaper. Would you not go shopping shopping because there was £50 knocked off and decide to go back when it's the full price?

Would you not go shopping shopping because there was £50 knocked off and decide to go back when it's the full price? People still buy things outside of the January sales. I expect that sales will continue as some fans may either have been undecided up to now or saving up for holidays. As with every season, sales will continue even though prices go up a bit.

Would you not go shopping shopping because there was £50 knocked off and decide to go back when it's the full price? there can be many reasons why people cannot buy at the early season prices? some of them might be in a position whereby they don't need to save a few ££££ others may have had other priorities. what matters is the direction the club are heading in and at the moment everything seems to be on the up. no doubt we will still have arseholes coming on here moaning that we are only signing "free" transfers. I couldn't give a fuck whats printed on these pages anymore, I prefer to do my scfc chatting with people who actually get off their arse and actually go to the games.

The early birds were sold before the "final points push". Definitely think the subsequent 9th and 50 points will further inject interest. End of season results feel-good factor, realisation that less "on-the-day" tickets could be available, plus the Brazil WC being upon us - will provide positive impacts for the mid-price tickets.
Fill in that corner!! NOW.
