Was very sad when we moved from the Vic. The last day celebrations/commiserations will remain for some time (thankfully the Baggies turned up and adhered to the script). Was very excited at the new "Brit" interpreted it as a sign of ambition. The subsequent "on-pitch" demise then led to disgruntlement that the stadium was the priority not the team. Thus, typical Stoke, a celebration ended in relegation. Hope followed by despair. Going down, we were a big fish in a "big" stadium. Going to Lincoln, Wycombe etc, gave a feel of relative "big time" off the pitch if not on it. Move on a few years, people watching up a tree like tarzan, or on a bus like Blakey, go from quirky to embarrasing. The Brit looks tired and I feel that filling in the corners could ramp up the atmosphere if the good performances continue. Others would say look at Pride Park and Bolton, I say lets look at Stoke, back MLH with some money, let the good times roll and stop apologising for ourselves. If Tony Scholes says we rarely sell out, then lets be inventive. Lets invest in the future, not every £5 deal needs to result in a Kav missed penalty, a Jason Roberts and Jamie Cureton piss take and an invasion of the boardroom....oops got it wrong hospitality. Goooarnstoke speculate and accumulate.

The concrete and steel structure will last a good number of years, pretty much everything else is removable and replaceable as it's bolt on.

Knock it down now or even give it the Vale and rebuild on the Vic site. A proper stadium in a built up area with some life. Best idea ever.

The Brit would be a lot more palatable if we rebuilt The Boothen End and turned it into a proper kop. Maybe when safe-standing starts taking off it's something we should consider, building a new Boothen with a red brick facade and all-standing.
