I was at the ground, we were loud and Cardiff were not, awful support, they were even worse than Blackburn. Now piss off back to the Championship where you belong and don't come back. I like this forum...some decent people on here. Always seem to get the abusive, hateful ones on late at night...strange that! Our ground has been voted as being the friendliest and most welcoming stadium for away fans this season and fair play, a lot of decent Stoke fans have said so in an earlier thread. And yet you always get the hateful, spiteful and downright nasty (as that thread on the racist abuse showed earlier) I suppose now that hooliganism at grounds is largely contained, they need something else to transmit their bile on Can you sing that for me........oh........hold on. EDIT: you have now told us 2397 times what your ground was voted and it's funny because we still do not give a shit, the Cardiff game has been and gone and yet you are still trying to enlighten us on something we do not care for. After what I saw on Saturday I can't see how you'll stay up, you are going to need a lot of favours off other teams And if you think someone saying piss off is "hateful, spiteful (are you 5?) and down right nasty" you have lived a sheltered life or you are one of the weird ones.

What a precious bunch they've become. I couldn't help but feel yesterday that Cardiff have lost their 'edge'. Don't get me wrong for the away supporter it is now a safe and enjoyable day out but their atmosphere seems to have suffered since they left Ninian Park and they've attracted a new breed of fan than the Cardiff of old. True....some of the atmosphere has been lost but then, rightly or wrongly, a lot of what happens on the pitch determines the atmosphere in the stands, especially in this day and age. The atmosphere was better when we were in the Championship to be honest......a lot of fans haven't enjoyed this season due to the shenanigans on and off the pitch and that's been reflected in the stands. As for our hooligans of the past....the club has worked hard to get rid of them and we have won various awards now for being a family club. There may be less atmosphere because of that but I reckon that's a price worth paying overall. I'm proud of our stadium and facilities and generally, I think we give a warm and friendly welcome to away fans and rightly so You are right to be proud mate. It's a cracking stadium and the locals I met were great and as laid back as I remember at the play-off final. Anybody who regrets the passing of 'aggro' and mindless violence is an eejit. To be honest I thought we overdid the Odemwingie; anti-KJ and (albeit ironic) pro- Tan chants yesterday.

It's pretty embarrassing from the Cardiff fans on that thread really.... Although to be fair one or two of them acknowledge that The irony of that pathetic "protest" in the ground was a good 30% of the wankers were wearing red replica tops as they waved their blue scarves Did anyone see the knob head to our right pointing at his tattoo when we were singing you're not Bluebirds any more ? As if having a tattoo makes a blind bit of fucking difference

I was there in fact I've only just got back had a great weekend in Cardiff. The police and stewarding at the stadium was top class low key and friendly. I remember the bad old days when you wouldn't dream of making a weekend of this fixture. We were loud and we were taking the p**s. I think they have massive problems even if they manage to escape the drop. They have lost there identity are they Red dragons or are they Bluebirds ? The fans are half in each strip and very quiet with no passion. The protest was half hearted and none of them should have even noticed us taking the p**s it should been so passionate. If some arsehole tried to make us wear blue and white stripes and change our identity I wouldn't be listening to what the naughty boys were singing in the away end !!

Great weekend in Cardiff, one of the most friendly receptions outside the ground of anywhere I have ever been...bit of a surprise really, but maybe that is part of the problem. By making CCS so friendly they have taken away some of the passion. Home fans really were very quiet, appart from having a go at Odem and Arnie. There was one "throwback" outside after the game, a copper tried to stop us walking away, whilst his mates and the stewards were happy for us to move along. I think he had "small man syndrome" and was obviously a bit older than the others, still, a VERY minor incident in an excellent weekend. Cardiff is now a place I would consider taking my missus for a few days

Cardiff fans were an embarrassment. If Stoke were in the same situation as cardiff, playing that match in our first season in the league, you wouldn't of even been able to hear yourself think, never mind 2000 away fans singing about Vincent Tan.

Right....If being well mannered and well spoken, not needing to use swearing in order to communicate is weird, you bet I am. It's quite telling that you call me childish for calling someone nasty for using foul language. I personally think that it's you, feeling the need to use that language, who is incredibly childish. Quite ironic. Does using infantile language make you a man? In your world it seems as if so. My post wasn't just aimed at you, it was for all those who feel the need to call someone, who is being friendly and reasonable, a sheep- sh***** c**t or telling them to pi** off or whatever.......On another point - I detest that word c**t and I find it astonishing that it is used on here and on the Cardiff forum so much...(the idiots on there tend to spoil it for me as well) It's a shame because I haven't been on the Forums for long but they seem to be places where keyboard warriors just want to abuse people. It shouldn't be that way but there you are. There are some really decent and fair minded people who can support their team without putting others down and who are capable of having a decent chat. Thanks to all of them. (thumbsup)I will concentrate on them and not the 'nutters' who get pleasure in returning friendliness with spite.

I went on coach so didn't really meet very many of 'em but the police and stewards were good and it was a good day out. I was just shocked at how bad their fans were in the ground, it's not like they're fighting for anything at the moment.....
