What a precious bunch they've become. I couldn't help but feel yesterday that Cardiff have lost their 'edge'. Don't get me wrong for the away supporter it is now a safe and enjoyable day out but their atmosphere seems to have suffered since they left Ninian Park and they've attracted a new breed of fan than the Cardiff of old. True....some of the atmosphere has been lost but then, rightly or wrongly, a lot of what happens on the pitch determines the atmosphere in the stands, especially in this day and age. The atmosphere was better when we were in the Championship to be honest......a lot of fans haven't enjoyed this season due to the shenanigans on and off the pitch and that's been reflected in the stands. As for our hooligans of the past....the club has worked hard to get rid of them and we have won various awards now for being a family club. There may be less atmosphere because of that but I reckon that's a price worth paying overall. I'm proud of our stadium and facilities and generally, I think we give a warm and friendly welcome to away fans and rightly so

Bless them. Some of them upset because we didn't 'recognise their protest'!?? What on earth are they on about?? Let's make sure that we're sympathetic with Spurs because they sold Gareth Bale and pissed the money against the wall; with West Brom because they couldnt get Lukaku on loan again this season; and Fulham because they had to put up with that awful Michael Jackson statue. Free hugs before kick off too. In fairness, on Cardiff's other forum (the one I'm on) a lot of our fans said the same thing. They said that we shouldn't want or expect other fans to support our protest. Myself, I think it's a decent thing to do. All football fans should unite against rich businessmen who have the potential to ruin 'our' clubs and thus, 'our' game Whether its a decent thing to do or not really does not motivate me. You're having a shit time of it and having your 'identity taken away' - well that's your problem. Want to change it, then do something about it. Expecting or even wanting other fans to support your protest is all a bit weak and pathetic really. This is supposed to be a cause that is tearing apart YOUR football club, and all that a number of your fans can do is spend time bitching about another group of people that have absolutely no influence whatsoever on the situation?? Seriously, when that has appeared to cause such a problem, you have to question just how much it really matters. Surely it matters to the point that you don't care what Stoke fans were singing, for 90 minutes on one day? It doesn't (or shouldn't) undermine anything. You've not got anything to prove to us and it certainly has nothing to do with us. Tan most certainly isn't going to take on board anything that was sung by the Stokies - and neither should your soft fans either. All football fans should stick to their own team to give themselves whatever edge they can. If it is to get at the opposition fans - it's getting that slight edge and it obviously worked. If your lot can't rise above that, then its your problem, not ours. and you know what, if somebody took us over and I felt passionately enough about trying to stop what it was they planned to do, then I sure as hell wouldn't be looking for the support and compassion of other fans to 'verify' anything. Fight your own battles, stop caring what other people think and maybe you'll end up with something better and more effective than your 19:27 weak streak of piss that you put on show yesterday. Meanwhile, Tan continues to piss himself whilst all these pissed off fans keep turning up and out of protest, buying the blue away kit instead

they've not forgiven Cardiff for putting them in their place at their place in 2000. Its a small shithole of a place infested by ****s. the accent is a cross between birmingham and liverpool and its terrible - not a worse sound mankind could hear. I had the misfortune to work on a project there for six months many years ago. you don't need a DeLorean - just go to Hanley.
How exactly did they put us I our place in 2000? Didn't Thorne and Kavanagh leave in 2001? Even then, that was the year we beat them in the playoffs. What an odd man.

Thugs from all over the country and more police on horses than knights at the Battle of Hastings.

By far the biggest bunch of Neanderthals to grace the Britannia Stadium and then they start crying when we sing a few songs at their place.
I've heard it all now.

On the NBC broadcast the Stokies sounded in full voice. Excellent atmosphere in the away end, looks like all of the biancorossi were having a wonderful day out in South Wales. Never saw us with such a carnival atmosphere in the Prem.

I watched it on a dodgy stream in a pub with the windows open next to a main road with a brass band playing outside whilst the racing was on full blast on a different tele and I could hear the Stoke fans loud and clear.

Unless you where at the ground then it's impossible to make a sound (pardon the pun judgement. I had to watch the Cardiff vs Fulham game on a stream and when I told my family, who watched the game live, that the ground sounded quiet, they said it was the opposite.

I like this forum...some decent people on here. Always seem to get the abusive, hateful ones on late at night...strange that! Our ground has been voted as being the friendliest and most welcoming stadium for away fans this season and fair play, a lot of decent Stoke fans have said so in an earlier thread. And yet you always get the hateful, spiteful and downright nasty (as that thread on the racist abuse showed earlier) I suppose now that hooliganism at grounds is largely contained, they need something else to transmit their bile on
