Why cant the powers that be,give out retrospective 3 game bans for things like that? After all he was trying to gain an advantage by blatant cheating.

The thing is that he doesn't need to do it.
As much as I dislike his antics, he is a very good player

I agree - i simply don't get why they can't If they are happy to find Charlie Adam guilty then the question mark of 'intent' is also out of the argument Suarez is taking the piss and laughing his tits off about it

Disgusting and only missing the ubiquitous banging of the floor with his left forearm to indicate his final death throes. And this waste of 3.5 sq metres of skin is one of favourites for PFA player of the year. I fucking despair.

That is nothing short of disgusting. The guy is a cheating little scumbag & his teammates have learnt from him quickly, it is no surprise Liverpool are marching towards the title when the whole game appears to be geared towards who can feign & dive the most in this country!!

I've said it before on this site, he should have been thrown out of the game for biting.
Where does the PFA sit on this attempt to gain advantage by trying to get a fellow professional in trouble? Answer: Silent - spineless cowards.

He does it every week. And every dive is 10 times worse than biting for me. Same as match fixing or using drugs to enhance performance.
They need an independent panel of 5. If they all decide someone has dived or feigned injury in any way then they do as follows: 1st offence 3match ban, 2nd offence 10match ban, 3rd offence 5 points deducted from club. 4th offence, global ban from all professional football for the player.
Nobody would dive again.

It was a major feature of both Drogba and Ronaldo's games when they first arrived on the English scene, through coaching/reffing or whatever they became much better players by easing it out of their repertoire. I held out some hope that Suarez would similarly improve and become twice the player. No chance, he gets worse and it seems to be infecting the whole game now. There are too many examples of players going to ground far too easily as a tactic to disrupt the game, fining won't have the necessary impact I don't think. There needs to be points deductions for a season or two, retrospective reviews even. It's so frustrating and ruining football. Because of Suarez and co.'s pathetic pantomiming it really will take the shine off Liverpool winning the title. Success through cheating. Twats.

I remember when ric did something like that against Sheffield Wednesday.
Stood there holding his face, then the ball came to his feet and turned with it and ran at the opposition.

Retrospective bans would solve this sort of a thing easily.
If Suarez was banned for the rest of the season, Liverpool would lose the title.
It would cut out cheating instantly.

Said this for couple of seasons now that the only answer is retrospective action that changes results if goals are scored as a result if cheating followed by bans and points deduction. It's the only way. Problem is now that the FA took no action against Flores following his death at the hands of Carroll few weeks ago they have in effect condoned cheating. Instead they upheld the sending off of Carroll and dismissed his appeal not even mentioning Flores despicable falling over clutching his face after Carroll had brushed the top if his hair during an aerial challenge.

To be fair to Crystal Palace, TP fined 2 players for diving earlier this year. one was booked in the game the other incident was missed by the officials.
He is all for retrospective punishment by the FA, spoke that a significant ban should be applied, as this will be the only deterrent to reduce diving / feigning injury.
The fact that Suarez is involved seems to intimidate the officials imo

In real life, people are deterred from lying and conning others by the story about the boy that cried wolf.
In the football world, if someone catches you out lying and conning, you scream like a little girl and accuse your accuser of being a cheat themselves, and racist, and thousands of your loyal supporters wear T-shirts with your face on, and ring radio shows to say you're unfairly maligned, and make songs about you being a poor unfortunate individual wronged by the rest of society, and the authorities give you a big slap on the back because they're scared to upset your legion of braindead followers. The boy that destroyed the village by wrongly crying wolf? Why, what a legend, let's give him another ice pop.
Any wonder the cheats carry on cheating?

The media & the FA need a new team to laud & if you haven't noticed, since December it's been Liverpool.
The media circus's attitude towards Suarez & the other diving cheats at that club have changed completely since December. Last year, their antics were despised as a threat to the game, now they're considered clever play. Retrospective bans are the only way to stop this shit.

Some over-reactions here wishing death on the player. Yes Suarez is a cheating cunt, but that's more indicative of the feather-spined FA allowing this sort of exploitation to go unpunished than it is of the player(s). Obviously there's mostly guys who are morally above resorting to that sort of stuff, but there'll always be cunts so the real crime is having the power to stop cuntery but not having the bottle to utilise that power.

The odious piece of shit should have been sat in the stand following exact same thing against Man City which should have been a second yellow. And the authority's reckon there ain`t no agenda/ favoritism load of bollox and as said earlier this scummer will be lauded and awarded at the end of the season.

Lucky boy. Both the ankle and knee neary went there. To wish harm on another human being indicates a deep seated issue and is quite frankly, pathetic. He's a person with a wife and children who plays football very well. Yes, he does silly things and winds people up but that mean he deserves harm or to have pliers taken to him? Listen to yourselves. The prem is better with him in it and the World Cup will be great to have him in it. People slag him off because he has a penchant for diving yet idiots on here will happily laud Gerrard, Rooney when England are in Brazil despite one hitting DJs because they wouldn't play the songs he wants and the other for paying grannies for sex despite having a wife and kids. People need to have a look in the mirror at themselves
