I doubt it. I reckon a club like ours is probably his level but I doubt he'd see it like that.

He isn't good enough for Man Utd and both those two sides you mention are currently better teams than them so I disagree

But when You have Rooney and RVP ahead of You it will be a struggle to play. I can see him going to Everton tbh.

Had our chance last summer with Bony. Forget about him now they would be asking between 15- 20 mill.

Always a running joke in our household about how poor he is and if you watch him thoroughly, he really doesn't have a clue most of the time.

I couldn't disagree more, he's not the best around but he could easily get into the Spurs and Everton sides, therefore he's better than us. I think he'll end up at Everton actually.

Amazing how different people see players in a different light. I don't disagree that he will end up at somewhere such as Everton, but IMO it will not be deserved.

Welbeck would be a fantastic signing! If we signed him and kept all of our first choice players then next season we would break in to the top 8.
Realistically though I can't see us being able to afford the transfer, signing on fee and wages. So I'd go for a cheaper option like Diouf.

The only benefit to signing Welbeck is that he'd get nowhere near the national side in the very near or distant future.
Worth the money I'd say...

I'd like to see us sign Welbeck, think he'd do well to leave the shit and go somewhere else for first team football, I expect he'd get more attractive offers than us though.

We will have agree to disagree then because I think you are doing Welbeck a disservice by what you say. He is a lot better than you're giving him credit for and would improve us no end. I'm not even going to comment on the Mama comparison anymore because we both know you're talking shit on that one

I removed some of the unrealistic/unattainable (in my opinion) players from hancock's list and was left with this Vincent Aboubakar Alfred Finnbogason Artem Dzyuba Wissam Ben Yedder André-Pierre Gignac Carlos Bacca Ikechukwu Uche Aron Johannsson Raffael Araújo Alberto Paloschi Shinji Okazaki Anthony Modeste Paulo Sergio Betanin Graziano Pelle Yura Movsisyan I did a similar exercise but ended up with Modeste and Immobile. That's another season with Crouchie then. Perhaps with Agudelo, Walters and Odemwingie coached into that role.... I still rate Crouch, but he's looked knackered for a couple of months, and it's started to affect his decision making {whether to use his head or feet}. He gets roughed up a lot, multiple marked, and very few decisions. We need to be able to rotate him more. I'd like to keep him at the Club, but needs to be used more sparingly next season. I don't know what to think about our chance with the new 'Zlatan': Guidetti. Perhaps we'll have another year of him? Whatever happens I don't envisage the signing of a wage busting striker.
