It would be a bit worrying if you were at the same airport as Tone and he was still "waiting for something to drop"

Now that would be funny First day of training would be fun to watch. Goarrnn Ozil, son. I can just imagine the Arsenal fans reaction. Although they could go back to the boring boring Arsenal tag of years gone by,and their 1-0 to the Arsenal would be relevant again

Although they could go back to the boring boring Arsenal tag of years gone by,and their 1-0 to the Arsenal would be relevant again They happily accepted the thuggery of Peter Storey and co. Then they happily accepted the '1-0 to the Arsenal' team. I'm sure they would grow to love TP if he actually managed to win something with them First signing Jonathan Walters?

Now I don't mean to raise the Pulis word again on here, but I'm going to.....
Anyone listening to talksport at the moment will have had the pleasure of listening to Mick Dennis serial Stoke botherer quite literally gagging on Pulis' metaphorical managerial phallus.
He was squirming and writhing and desperately seeking a way to downplay Pulis' recent exploits. He couldn't in the end and just sounded like the bitter old Naaarwich hack he is.
Delightful.

TP would be a step up from Pardew: he only headbutts his own players, for a start, and then only behind closed doors (allegedly).

Not a chance Pulis would turn down Newcastle if he was offered the job.
Did that exact journey once - when I lived in Sandbanks and had a meeting in Newcastle (at Sage). 3.5 hours there. 8 hours back. But the return journey did include the best part of 5 hour in the bar at Newcastle airport . I'm sure Tone would take it. I'm also sure that they wouldn't take it in Newcastle. You lived in sandbanks ....? Can I have your autograph ?

It was OK (at best) to live in Sandbanks TBH. Deserted and quiet in the winter. Overcrowded and impossible to get in/out in the summer at weekends. There would be traffic queuing outside my flat from 8am for the Studland ferry (and that was 0.5 mile away from where the ferry went).
